First of all I want to thank everyone, new and old, for becoming members to this site. I didn't know what to think in 2004 when I began taking photos of numerous models and friends and building the site for the launch. But here I am in February 2006 and the feedback from all of you, good and bad, has made this all worthwhile and something I aim to keep up for as long as I can. This leads me to a few topics, however, in which I need to confess some things. I have been talking for what seems like forever now about adding in a video clips section to the site. Being easier said than done this far into the site has made the process a very slow going one. In the meantime I have been trying to post some of the timely clips (ex. This column might upset some of you being  Carmen , the only feature model on Wu's Feet Links  thus far might not be posing again for Soles of Silk for a period of time. I don't think that you've seen the last of her, but it might be a longer wait until her next update than usual. Last week Carmen moved out of state and we were unable to meet up the final week before she moved. I had planned a day full of photos with her, but some things came up and she was unable to make the day we had planned on. Communication wasn't there for the next couple of days and we never got to do the photos that I had wanted to do. In the next couple of weeks I want to set up a poll online and allow members and fans of Soles of Silk or any of the sole mates to make their voice heard. I am working on assembling some categories for people to vote on that will be limited to the models, photo sets and individual photos that were posted the first year on Soles of Silk. So far I have come up with some ideas for the categories, but I'd love to hear what you think of them or if you have an idea that I might have missed. One thing I have notice about the members of this site is that you are an attentive bunch, noticing some of the smaller points of the site or about comments I have made. So I will not be surprised to get e-mails this week asking what happened to the shoot I teased last week that was supposed to celebrate the one year anniversary of Soles of Silk. For the last three weeks I wanted to put together some stellar, larger than normal, shoots for Christmas, followed by New Year's, followed by the site's anniversary. To say the least this stretch has been busy between working, shopping, family and the like. Finding open time for myself at times has been a pain, let alone finding time that matches one of my friend's (model's) has been even harder. My original plans were to m

Kimmie and Kellie made a card featuring this photo of their feet for Christmas. I've said time and time again that anyone who knows me knows that I have a foot fetish. To some, it is interesting, to some it is funny. I've had my share of people cracking jokes on me, but I've also had my share of female friends sticking their feet in my lap for a nice massage when we hang out. This Christmas was just another example of me wearing my fetish without shame. I had a thoughtful present that was part funny and part flirty. The first of two Christmas themed sets this week, featuring Chloe and Kimmie. This Sunday is the big day and I've done barely any shopping. The next couple of days is going to be filled with mad rushes back and forth to store, only to break for the long line at every store. Why did I wait until the last minute? This week's update has two large Christmas themed sets and also features the first full length video clip for the site. I am not done remodeling the site and inserting those new sections yet, but I wanted to make sure you had the Christmas video this week being it is from Chloe's and Kimmie's shoot. Here we are a few weeks before the holidays and I am sure everyone has been busy decorating, shopping, working, etc. So has yours truly. You've had a few weeks of seeing the preview clip on the site's main page and I am sure some of you are wondering if Patrick forgot about the clips. I want to assure you that I have not forgotten the clips. I've been working here and there on my computer to revamp the site to make a section for the clips as well as a few other sections I am thinking you will enjoy. I will probably launch the new sections early so you can enjoy those clips and have the other two additional sections be a work in progress. Now I can see why many site hire additional help. I've had it for a number of weeks though, but with all the files still on my Macintosh and my familiarity with the Mac, I decided to keep working from the Mac instead. This week, however, I forced myself to change. I had to download some programs to get all my USB accessories to be recognized by the computer and don't even talk about the issues of a PC reading Mac files (Macs read the PC files, don't you think it would go the other way too?). But after several hours of set up, I got to the point to go ahead with the update and things did not go as bad as I had thought they would. There were some font issues going from one platform to the other, but unless you really get into reading the model's name and site copyright on each photo, you probably won't notice the change from Fu

It's been a few weeks since I left a post in my column area, but I've had a couple of e-mails lately asking a question that I want to address to everyone here. I am not sure if members or non-members have been the ones sending the e-mails, but I am guessing non-members. Anyhow, the issue is crushing, the crushing of bugs to be exact. This past month I've had quite a few people asking me if any or if a particular model would crush a bug in a custom video. First and foremost, Soles of Silk is not at the point yet of doing custom videos, so that right there has the issue null and void. But when the site does make it to that point, the models WILL NOT be crushing any living creatures. I am not bashing those of you who find this aspect of the fetish to be interesting or a turn on.
