Welcome to the first ever installment of the Dream Duo Blog Series. It's always a fun time when I can get two models together for a photo shoot, but there are always certain pairings that I just know will result in some awesome photos. Over the years I've been lucky enough to make some of those pairings happen. Pairings such as Madison & Lauryn , when I launched the site in 2004, and Alice & Leah just last week, were quick to become fan favorites. That being said, I thought it would be fun to come up with some "Dream Duos," if you will, and pitch them to you here in this all new blog series. Each entry will focus on one potential duo. Alice (left) and Leah can now be reached on Instagram. Guess who is now on Instagram ? Alice ( @Alice__Elevens ) and newcomer, Leah ( @LoveLeah.x ). This should make many of you happy. All too often I have to tell followers of the Soles of Silk Instagram account ( @SolesofSilk ) that I am not the model shown in the images that I post. Sometimes I tell them once, sometimes twice. Other times the same person will shoot me a message 20 times, each based off a different model I posted from the site. I've begun to block those people to save my sanity. Anyhow, this blog is just a short entry to let you know that you can shoot these girls a message. How often they're going to check and/or update these accounts remains to be seen. So many of you have been in love with the site's newest model, Melani. Can't say I blame you! Today was the first Monday this month where I didn't get to shoot photos with one of the site's newest models, Melani . It's not like we had planned to do any, but last night I did shoot her a text to tell her my day looked to be open today. Sadly, hers was not. It rained anyhow, but I'm sure she would have looked cute stomping her little size 6's into some mud or rain puddles. We would have made something happen, I'm sure. Oh well! These last few weeks have been a whirlwind for me on social media and on the site itself. From the moment Melani's first photo was shown on Instagram (IG) ( @SolesofSilk ), Twitter (TW) ( @SolesofSilk ), and the Wu's Feet Links Forum (WU), she's been a massive hit. Do you want the good news, or the bad news first? Since I can't really know what answer you'd have for this question as I write this blog, I'm going to assume you said the bad news. So here it is! Today's shoot location was about an hour, to hour and 15 minute drive. That drive ended up taking slight over two and a half hours! That's right, more than double what it should have. I tried some back roads, only to find those resembling a parking lot. Those roads had lane closures for construction, and everyone else jumping off the highway with the same idea I had. It was a mess! Now, the good news! I got to shoot with Melani again. Just a week after her debut sets were shot, she's already back in front of my camera posing her 18 year feet once again. She technically hasn't even debuted on site yet, shooting twice within this first week. Anyhow, Melani is on spring break this week and didn't get scheduled to work today. Since I didn't book anyone

Two more sets. Two more models shot - one of which, is a newcomer. Add that to the list of productivity I've had over the last several weeks and I don't know how things could get much better. Well, maybe if I had another all day shoot planned for tomorrow. Oh wait, I do! Before I get ahead of myself here, today's shoot deserves some attention. No, scratch that! It deserves a lot of attention! Last year Alice tied Mindee as my site's most photographed model for 2016, with 11 sets each. It was her second time doing 11 sets in a calendar year, which is awesome considering that she's only been shooting for those two years. She just keeps modeling her size 11's and I keep on shooting them. Well, she's already got two under her belt for 2017... or is that inside her sock? Alice wasn't today's only model, however. Since last week I've been on quite the roll meeting up with a handful of models for new photos. If you just read my first shoot blog of the day, covering the shoot I did with Felicia (see blog: " Tuesday's Shoot - Felicia "), you already know that I've been quite busy this last week shooting new sets. Originally my only plans for today, however, were with Felicia. Then Mindee hit me up a few days later, just as I was about to shoot with Melani (see blog: " Monday's Shoot - Melani "). As I waited for Melani to get ready yesterday, Mindee explained to me that she'd be getting off early on Tuesday, and if I was game, she'd like to hang out and maybe even shoot.
