This set marks Mindee's 100th set published to the site. There's plenty more coming too! What a horrible week. All across the world, the Coronavirus is putting government bodies in the position of limiting public gatherings, or telling people to stay inside entirely. With all this going on, it feels a little strange to be celebrating this week. Life must go on, as they say. And life this week just so happens to see Mindee having her 100th photo set published to Soles of Silk . So at least something good is happening this week. This blog won't be entirely long, because I've run a few good-sized blogs focused around Mindee over the last few weeks. If you haven't read them yet, I'll leave the links below. One of blogs talked about how the entire month of March will be dedicated to updates featuring Mindee. The second blog showcased Mindee's entry into the 7K Club (7,000 photos). There was a lot covered in those blogs, so be sure to give them a read.

Have you ever seen segment in the 1966 Batman film where Adam West utters the line, "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb?"  If you haven't, please watch the scene below before proceeding. It's only 2 minutes, 32 seconds long, but fits into the narrative of this blog. So you're probably asking me why I had you watch this infamous clip from the hokey 1960's Batman film. Well, it's because I felt like Batman while out trying to shoot with Jasey Rae on Monday. We didn't have a bomb, but we did have some "bomb" feet, if you will, and we couldn't seem to display them for the camera at any place that we tried for a good hour and a half. Not wanting to spend the entire day shooting, and wanting to stay local, Jasey and I made our way over to a park that I've used a few times. This week's set sees Charlee enter the 2K Club (2,000 photos). It has been more than five years since the last model on the site has joined the 2K Club (2,000 photos). Mindee was the last to accomplish that feat back in January of 2014. She and Cierra , the first model to enter the 2K Club in December 2011, were the only two models in this elusive club until this week. Only 18 models have even hit the 1K mark, which is just under 17 percent of the entire model roster of the site. Less than 2 percent have reached 2K. That is all about to change, however. Over the next two weeks, the elusive 2K Club will double in size from two to four. This week, Charlee , who debuted back in September 2009, becomes the third member of the site's 2K Club. Next week, Alice who debuted in May 2014 will become the fourth. This particular blog will focus on Charlee and her last 1,000 photos published to the site. Last week I was at work and I looked over at a calendar. That's when it hit me! Mindee and I were almost out of time to do our photos for May. If you aren't aware, at the start of the year, Mindee and I set a challenge for ourselves in 2019. We are aiming to shoot at least once set every month this year. Worried that we fail our challenge here in May, I sent her a quick text with all my openings to see if she had anything open that matched. Within minutes, Mindee replied, saying she could shoot on Tuesday, May 28. I said okay, and that was our plan. On Monday, however, Mindee asked me if there was any chance that I could shoot on Wednesday instead. I told her that I could. She wanted to go get her toes done since she was at the beach for Memorial Day weekend. She said the sand was not kind to her feet and she wouldn't have time to go get a pedi on Tuesday before we shot. I said that was fine and planned to shoot on Wednesday instead. There are things that I have been looking forward to for a really long time. The build up has been immense. Sometimes it feels like its never going to end, but then it does... sorta. Today I finally got to shoot with Melani for the first time since the end of 2017. After shooting 21 sets in her debut year, we went the entirety of 2018 without any new sets. We both were busy and had some things going on in life that just didn't make anything happen. Today, however, that wait ended. Again, sorta.  I rented out an AirBnB for the day and our check in was set for 3 p.m. I never booked through AirBnB before, so this was all new to me. I was looking forward to it and had picked out a place that we both loved. A little modern, with splashes of color that I knew would come through so well in the photos. A few weeks ago Mindee and I were catching up with one another. The holidays had just wrapped up, she was fixing up her new house, and I was working a lot of overtime. We were both very busy, but agreed that we should try to catch up soon. During that conversation I pitched an idea to Mindee that she really liked. What if we met up at least once every month to shoot some photos? Even when we shot 40 sets back in 2017, we didn't shoot every single month of the year. At this point, it feels like we've done it all, so why not try to challenge ourselves to do something a little different? She agreed. The more we discussed this idea, the more things came into focus of what we could do. I said that we didn't have to come away with a bunch of sets every time we shoot. Obviously if we were able to plan a nice day trip in the spring, or do one of our regular vacation trips, that would call for getting in a lot of sets. At the end of 2017 I was looking to do a soft reboot of the Wu's Feet Links Interviews Blog . For several years I had been posting monthly interviews trying to keep the spirit of Wu's Feet Links going after Wu's untimely passing. As the years went on, however, I began to encounter a lot of people saying they were interested in doing interviews, but then would never come through. Long story short, I decided to switch the interviews to an every other month format for 2018 and secured the model I shot yesterday to serve participate in the March 2018 Interview (explicit content). Mindee's 2019 remake of Lauryn's 2004 original, waffles set. This blog entry is part of an ongoing series running throughout 2019 that will take a look at all things  Soles of Silk  in celebration of 15 years online. Over the last several months I have made regular mention that some of the sets that I've been shooting were slated to be a part of something big in 2019. I was purposely vague with details because I wanted everything to remain a secret until my plan was put into action. Now, with the first update of 2019, it's time to share the details of this plan - a plan I've been working on for two years. While shooting in 2017 I began to realize that the site's 15th Anniversary would soon be upon us. I began to toss around ideas for things to do when 2019 arrived. I thought of some of the tried and true items such as themed interviews, avatar sets, and blogs, but I wanted something more. Eventually that idea would come and it came to me when I was th
