June. What a great month. On June 2, I celebrated my 29th birthday. I went out to the amusement park and rode a bunch of roller coasters and of course, I saw tons of girls in flip flops and sandals. I'm telling you man, between that day and a quick stop at the mall yesterday, I saw more cute female feet than I could take in. It was like an overload. I began not even noticing all the ones coming by as there were too many to look at. I did, however, see a bunch of the brightest color toes at the mall.  Two girls, who I assume were sisters, had this bright orange polish. I'm telling you, this orange was so vivid, it actually hurt your eyes to stare at as they moved their little feet around. Another thing I saw a lot of was the bare soles when girls took a step. Yes, I have light set ups that I use for indoor shoots, but I just love doing my shoots outside. The light is better in general and I like finding new and interesting backgrounds to do shoots in. Speaking of shoots, after I upload this week's update I'll be heading over Madison's place to take some photos with her. Yeah, I know, she's got me wrapped around her little toe. This week we get so much Madison , some of you might just suffer from the symptoms associated with a Size 8.5 Overdose. One of only nine entries in this installment of the Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. After the first Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest turn out, I was expecting about the same and hoping for more in the way of entries. Things weren't to be this time around, however as only nine entries came in from four different artists. Don't get me wrong, these entries were on par with what was submitted the first time around. I just thought more would have took the chance at winning either a 1-month or 3-month membership. I gave at least a 1-month membership to all of those who entered last time, so this time around, I decided to give all four artists the grand prize 3-month membership award. I hope everyone will be able to participate next time around. It seems as if non-members are the only ones entering the contest, so I want everyone to

Well, well. It seemed like it took forever, but the majority of the clips that appeared on the site in various formats and sizes have all been upscaled and remastered into the current format. I say majority for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that a few of these clips have holiday themes. When I was remastering five clips per week for the last few months, I would time the holiday clips (ie. Halloween and Christmas) to fall on the weeks of that holiday. Being I have finished remastering before Valentine's Day, for example, I will add those Valentine's Day clips in on this year's Valentine's update. Nope, but that would be super cool and I am sure you'd all want one! The 1,000 I am talking about here stand for photos. Madison was the first model to reach 1,000 photos in her galleries. Between her solo galleries and galleries where she's posed with the likes of  Lauryn , Molly , and Bethany , she has a grand total of 1,064 photos at the time of this column. I just posted a 90 photo gallery dedicated to my favorite aspect of those size 8.5 feet and that is her long narrow soles. Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year. I ended up falling asleep on a friend's couch and slept like crap all night. Once I got home around 9 a.m., I fell quickly asleep in my own bed and didn't get up to almost 5 p.m. Ouch! So here we are in 2008 and I have some new ideas and plans for this site. As an artist and creative person, I always strive to keep things fresh, but never to detract from the total package of what it is I am working on, in this case, Soles of Silk. Those of you who have been members for the last couple of months have already seen some redesigns and reorganization of certain sections of the site, such as this Columns section. I want to wish each and every member a happy holidays and say thank you for your membership to this site. When I started this site in 2005 I planned to do pretty much the same thing I had done with my old site in the years before. Over the years I've tried my best to introduce new items, whether it be sections, content and of course models. Models leads me to the next group I'd like to thank. When I started this site at the end of 2004, which opened on December 29, 2004, I had eight total models. Those models were:  Amber , Cierra , Lauryn , Lisa Tyler , Madison , Maria , Mindee and Sue Lovely . Presently there are 41 models on the site. I couldn't do this without any of you. So if you're reading, thanks for all the great sets and ideas you've brought to the site.

While reorganizing the Columns section last week I came across a couple of columns I wrote that I named "footographies" (like biographies) on specific Soles of Silk sole mates. I thought to myself that it has been a long time since I did a footography, so I'm making an effort to once again do them every so often. When I thought about who I wanted to use in this one, one model stuck out to me and that model is none other than Kellie . Kellie and I have been friends for years. Kellie, her twin sister,  Kimmie , and I worked together for most of the time that I've known them and both girls have always been awesome to photograph. Unless you are new to the world of online foot models, you have most certainly heard of Little Dee and Mikayla, a.ka. "Mile High Mikayla." Well, it looks like Soles of Silk will be adding both of these lovely ladies and their sexy soles to the sole mate roster before the end of the year! I've always adored both girls over the years and always said it would be awesome to one day get to do a photo shoot of each. In the past I have been lucky enough to meet and do shoots with some of the other well known foot models from the web such as Lexi, Jacklyn Lick and Lisa Tyler and be able to have some of the non-foot fetish models cross over into it on a regular basis such as Kat Noir, Molly and Sara Swirls. Of course, now Layla and Chrystine are out there doing their own thing and I got to work with them early on and continue to do so. But there is s
