I'm back for another round of some pointless, but fun-filled, Soles of Silk facts - well, minus the 8th one. It's been a while since I published one of these, and most of these deal with recent happenings on the site. And oh yeah, all the sample shots are stocking ones just because - no particular reason! Fact #1:  The first cartoon Foot Toons ( @FootToons ) drew for Soles of Silk was of Carmen . Originally he was doing her in Ravens gear, but then Carmen stated she was a Redskins fan. Being the cool guy that he is, he changed Carmen's cartoon to to Redskins theme and then created one with the twins, Kimmie and Kellie in the purple and black. Lela Beryl in white seamed stockings. Fact #2:  Soles of Silk model, Lela Beryl ( @LelaBeryl ), was quoted in the first official new column to appear on the all new, Wu's Feet Links Columns Blog titled, " FemDom: When You're Her Bitch ." Over the last few months I have included the Wu tribute ribbon in the watermark on every set I published on Soles of Silk and in every teaser image I posted here on the blog. I think it is now time, however, to retire it while we still strive to carry on his legacy. Published on July 22, Olivia's set relaunched the feature model section. The final set to feature this ribbon was fittingly, Olivia's July 2014 Wu's Feet Links feature model set, " Back to Business ." This set is the first feature set to be published since Wu's death, or this year for that matter. Earlier this year I did an email exchange with Wu of Wu's Feetlinks . Over the years he asked me to do feature sets for his Feature Model section on almost an annual basis. This year's model was scheduled to be Olivia and she was so happy to be representing Soles of Silk this time around. And then the updates stopped at Wu's Feetlinks. At first, no one knew why. Did Wu retire? Did he lose his passion? Was he sick? Well, it took months, but we finally found out that Wu had passed away. The entire community was saddened and we wondered what would become of Wu's Feetlinks without the main man in charge. Thankfully BHE is tending to the site with the assistance of community members. Hey everyone. It's been a little longer than usual since I last posted a blog. I want to let everyone know that all is well and I wanted bring you up to speed on what has been going on lately. Lately something has been happening that hasn't happened in all my years online (including my college days running The 10 Little Piggies free site). This something is, Wu's Feetlinks has not been updated for close to a month. I've been asked on the Wu's Feetlinks Forum in threads and in personal messages about the status of the site. Sorry to say, I know about as much as all of you who are asking. While I have personally talked with Wu too many times to count over the years, I haven't done so since the last update on his site, which reads "March 27, 2014." At first I honestly thought that the lack of updates was due to BHE moving some servers in recent weeks. I didn't think much of it, but as the days continued to add up after Soles of Silk was moved, I began to wonder. That's when people started to wonder and ask. In a recent thread seeing quite a bit of response on the Wu's Feetlinks Forum titled, " Am I Missing Something?

Hey everyone, just wanted to tell everyone that I'm back home now and should be a little more accessible. I was on the road for a week hitting up numerous amusement parks as well as a few baseball games in different cities. All in all, the trip was amazing, but it was very hard to do the amount of promotion I had wanted to do for Aspen's All American Feet feature set on Wu's Feetlinks from my iPhone and iPad. I set things up as best as I could, so I hope everyone has been enjoying that set. If you haven't checked it out, you're missing what many people are saying is the site's best set ever. Aspen's June 2013 Wu's Feature Set Banner Sometimes things just don't happen the way you plan them. That sure was the motto for shooting this year's Wu's Feetlinks Feature Set for the site. Aspen (this year's featured Soles of Silk model) and I just couldn't seem to catch a break when it came to making good on some really awesome ideas. And as I stated in the blog, " Today's Shoot - Aspen ," a few weeks ago, the story behind this set deserved it's very only blog. So now it's time to embark on the epic journey that ended up resulting in Aspen's Star Spangled Beauty set - an idea that was picked only days before it was shot.
