Last week Kelsey and I decided to get together to shoot "a few" sets. We ended up shooting five. That was more than we expected to do, but I sure as hell wasn't going to turn down more. When we wrapped up last week we decided to go ahead and made plans shoot again in two weeks, on Monday, September 28. Since we both had plans the following Monday (today), we didn't even consider it. That changed a few days later though when Kelsey said she'd be done her plans around 10 a.m. Mine weren't until 3:45 p.m. That was plenty long enough to shoot "a few more" sets. Why not? I told Kelsey we could do it as long as we still shoot on the 28th too. She smiled and said, "Good. I still want to." I recently came home from a much-needed vacation. When I went back to work, Kelsey and I were talking during some downtime. I told her to keep me in mind if she had any free time coming up for some new sets. She said okay and said she'd be game even if we shot only a set or two and that didn't have to be an all-day thing like last time. I agreed and told her to let me know if she had anything open. I think it was only a day or two later that we decided to go ahead and shoot here on Monday. We were both off and Kelsey was free until 4 p.m. I came up with a few loose ideas for us to use for themes, this time, all done outdoors. It's been a while since we've shot outside and it in the high 70's, the weather was perfect minus some wind from time to time. I figured we'd only get in three sets, but told Kelsey I'd plan for us to do five or six if we crushed it on time. When outside, it usually depends on whether or not we find a place to use that isn't smack ...

Back in February was the last time Charlee had spent time in front of my camera. That day she shot with both Ava and Audrey in several team ups. Her previous shoot was also a team up, back in April 2025, and was also with Ava. Jump back one more month to March 2025 and you will find the last time Charlee had modeled for anything by herself.  So it should go without saying that Charlee was overdue for some new solo sets. A few weeks ago I asked Charlee if she had any plans on Labor Day. I would be coming home from a vacation a few days prior, but I didn't make any Labor Day plans. If she was free, I would happily leave it open for her. Thankfully, she was. These are the six sets that we were able to shoot yesterday. Only a couple of them were pre-planned, with the rest coming together the day of the shoot. I'll give some of the backstory about each of these sets as I progress through what we did in order. Back in February Kelsey and I met up for an evening to shoot as many sets as we could. Our goal was to do 10 and we made it happen. That shoot happened on Monday, February 9 and you can check out what we did that day in the shoot blog, " Monday's Shoot - Kelsey ." Surprisingly we haven't been able to find any camera time since, but to be honest, with those 10 sets from February and the nine she did in December, it wasn't like I was short on sets featuring her adorable feet. Still, I missed them and always welcome the chance to do more. A few weeks ago Kelsey and I made some plans to shoot again and I asked her if we could try for another 10. She said sure and I got to planning on what we'd do. I ended up with way more than 10 ideas, but I narrowed it down to 10. We will hopefully find some more time to do the rest before the end of 2026. She's baaaaaaaack! It's been a few years, but Abby has returned. I know many of will be just as happy as me to see those wrinkled soles on the site once again. She's been at this for a long time, shooting foot photos for me in our college days. The days of 35mm photography. After seeing the outcome of yesterday's shoot though, she's apparently like fine wine. She just gets better with age. I won't make this long winded as I know you want to get into the samples below. For about a year now I have been wanting to pair up Leah and Audrey for Soles of Silk . Both are super fun to work with and both know how to tease oh so well! They have that bratty side to them, while still being down to earth and total sweethearts. Best of all, they're both great friends and they inspire me to find some fun themes and outfits for those shoot. So yeah, getting them together has been a goal of mine for some time. Well, I can now finally say that my goal has been met. Was it everything I thought it would be? Oh Hell yeah it was! Once these two were together, they played off one another like they've been friends for ages. At times I felt like I was a fly on the wall just observing what these two were up to.  While I would have loved to have shot a ton of sets today, I had to keep things to four. For a little over a month now Ava and I have been patiently awaiting our next shoot. Both of us have been busy between work, vacation, and life in general. But darnit... I really wanted some time in front of Ava and her size 9's. Can you blame me? We were originally set to get together earlier this week, on Monday. Life, however, caused us to postpone. Ava asked me if I was open Thursday morning and although I'm not a morning person, you best bet that I had no problem setting my alarm for those powerful feet of hers.  We had some plans and I sure wanted to see them through. Those plans included three sets, with two of them involving messy food.  Oddly, Ava has never done a "messy" food set before and told me earlier this year that she really wanted to do one.
