Monday's Shoot - Charlee
Since the start of 2025 Charlee and I have been trying to schedule her first shoot of the year. We've penciled in dates numerous times, but every one of those had to be canceled by either her (once) or myself (several times). Both of us had family issues come up that warranted our attention, so we just kept pushing the date back. While it bummed me out to have to keep postponing, I knew that when we did finally get together though, things would be amazing. And they were!
Charlee and I were able to meet up around 4 p.m. yesterday and shoot six amazing sets. We shot a wide variety of themes too, so there should be something for everyone's likings. Some of the different themes we did include sandals, sneakers, stockings, and even some messy foods. Let's take a look:
Set 1: Strappy Orange Sandals
Kicking things off was the one set I had no plans to shoot prior to Charlee's arrival. This one was entirely Charlee. She brought the shoes and the dress, both of which I absolutely adored. Seeing her pull these shoes out of her bag before we began, I knew I wanted her to wear them. They're so bright, so strappy, and they became two awesome props for her feet to play with once she kicked them off.
This just goes to show you, sometimes all the planning in the world isn't needed. I found out long ago that many times the spontaneous sets can often steal the show. It is also why I ask my models to bring random shoes and outfits with them. So thank you Charlee for bringing these along yesterday.
Set 2: Dreaming of U
With a handful of themes in play for this shoot, I usually like to do at least one that is simple. How simple? How about some pajama pants and a t-shirt simple? Oh, and the infamous blue foot pillow that has appeared in sets throughout the years.
Charlee sure didn't mind having an easy set either. She was all too ready to relax for a bit while letting us admire her soft soles. And yes, they sure were soft yesterday! Super soft, actually.
Set 3: Cream-Colored Sneakers
A few weeks ago Charlee mentioned to me that she was going to bring a pair of cream-colored sneakers to our shoot. She didn't have to say anything else. I was already sold and she knew it. You all know how much I love shooting sneaker sets and so does she.
Charlee decided to include a pair of ankle socks this time around instead of doing the sneakers with no socks theme I usually do. That's okay. Summer will be here in a few months and we can make sure we do a few of those then. You know, when Charlee's soft feet will get nice and moist too? I'm sure she fully expects this as well.
Set 4: Another Elmer Batters Tribute
Back in my college days the internet wasn't what it is today. Fetish material wasn't as easy to find. One of the sources I used to find it was Leg Show Magazine. It was through Leg Show that I discovered the photographer Elmer Batters and his legacy.
Fast forward a few years and I was able to buy a book showcasing Elmer Batters' photography called, "Elmer Batters: From the Tip of the Toes to the Top of the Hose." This was the book that made it into one of Mindee's sets in 2021 as an Elmer Batters tribute, along with a pair of unique stockings. It was an ode to the man who was doing this years before many of us were born.
In recent months I was able to secure a few more of Batters' books including the one you see Charlee holding above, "Legs that Dance to Elmer's Tune," as well as two tiny books, "Elmer Batters: The Carsuka Sittings," and one simply titled, "Elmer Batters." As far as I know, these are all the books that feature his work and since I now own all four, I wanted to pay another ode to the legend, this time with Charlee and a pair of Cuban heel stockings.
Set 5: Gummies, Gummies, Gummies!
It's been a while since I've had one of my models shoot a set with some gummies. For a long time I had constant requests for them, but not so much as of late. Still, I'm sure there are those of you out there who enjoy seeing soft, squishy gummies between some tight-clenching toes. So here you are!
I wasn't sure what kind of gummies to get for this set, but Charlee told me to get one of every animal. Little did she know they had bags for frogs, snakes, worms, unicorns, turtles, lizards, bears, fish, dinosaurs, and I can't even remember what else. So yeah, I was at the self-checkout scanning bag after bag of gummies yesterday before our shoot. Good thing I found a plate to hold them all.
Set 6: Chocolate Chip Pancakes
And now for the messy finale to our evening of photos. A few months ago Charlee and I had planned to shoot a set with pancakes and syrup. We had to cut things short that day and never got to shoot that set. It's been on hold just waiting for us to shoot again. Well, we finally got to do it and I'm glad we waited. Not only did we shoot pancakes and syrup, but we shot chocolate chip pancakes, with exra buttery syrup, extra creamy whipped cream, and chocolate chips.
The best thing about this shoot was when Charlee was getting onto the bed and she blurted out something about how much she hates how sticky syrup is when it gets on your skin. I was just laughed and said it's too late now.
Charlee made quite the mess and I love how this set turned out. I asked her if we can do French toast and syrup and/or waffles and syrup sometime down the road. She said no. Or was it, "Fuck you." Oh well. This set turned out amazing nonetheless.
I'm hoping to have Charlee back in front of the camera again soon, including for some outdoor sets. We have plans in place that we have to still build on, but the theme is already determined. I also aim to have Charlee shoot regularly moving forward, especially with her living five minutes away. Can you blame me? She's always done great work, but I truly think what she's done in 2024 and 2025 might be some of her best. Just like a fine wine, she's just getting better with age. Right, Charlee? Well, minus the cramps and aches.
