Monday's Shoot - Charlee
Back in March Charlee was back home, visiting from out of town. She gave me a few hours of her time to shoot some photos as we had done so many times before. While shooting that day she shared her plans for moving back home later in the year. She also said that once she returned, she'd like to shoot again like old times.
It's hard to believe that Charlee, the site's third most photographed model with 3,683 photos, has lived hundreds of miles away from me for year now. Debuting back in 2009, Charlee quickly racked up a bunch of photos, but then moved. Even after she moved however, she'd always give me a day or two to do some photos whenever she'd come back home to visit family. I've always been thankful for that. Those shoots have allowed her photo count to rise even with the distance between us. I can only imagine how many she'd have if she had never moved...
Now that Charlee is back home, this is the first of what I hope to be many new sets coming your way. If today's is any indication, you're in store for some amazing sets too - dare I say, some of her best!
Set 1: Candy Cane Cutie
With the timing of today's shoot I wanted to make sure I fit in a Christmas themed set for all of you. I was able to grab a New Year's one with Leah last week too, so that will keep everyone in a festive mood to close out the year with two of the site's most prominent models.
For the set itself, we decided to go with a candy cane theme and played off the red and white in a major way. From Charlee's socks, shirt, and headband, to all the props we tossed onto the bed, the the red and white combo won't escape your eyes.
This set, to me, turned out so good and even if you're normally a Grinch during the holidays, I think this one will surely warm your heart just a little.
Set 2: Ballbusting Kitten
Now we go from red to blue. Blue as in blue balls. Charlee saw some of the sets other models on the site have done in recent years with all the squishy blue balls and wanted to do one too. Of course I wasn't going to say no.
Always wanting to make things different whenever possible, Charlee tossed on a pair of frilly white baby doll socks to squish those balls, well at least at the start. By the end her bare feet were wrecking them along with her hands. Charlee is such a boss!
It's too bad Charlee and I didn't meet up earlier so this set could have been a part of the No Nut November sets I posted with Ava and Leah in a teasing mood. Oh well, better late than never. So glad Charlee got to do one of these. She's been wanting to for a bit now.
Set 3: Grab Your Joysticks
On Black Friday I came across a sale from Wal Mart for the Atari VCS bundle. It was only $80 and I decided to go ahead and grab one. I thought about buying one of these years ago, but at a price point north of $200, I didn't. At $80 with both the standard controller and joystick included, I said, "Why not?"
Not to get sidetracked, but the Atari VCS is a digital system with a bunch of games installed from the Atari library. There is also a store where you can buy other games, both new and old. As a gamer, I mostly got this for the nostalgia. My dad and I used to play the Atari 2600 when I was a kid and I like how this was made to resemble one of those, albeit with a modern design.
Luckily for me, this console arrived two days before Charlee and I were set to shoot. When I opened it I immediately thought it might be fun to toss into one of her sets, an idea Charlee thought would be fun. I already had a Pac Man shirt and some other Atari themed items to add into the set too. Our on the spot idea to add the fishnet socks to the mix gave it just a bit more of an 80's vibe too. I'm so glad we did that.
Set 4: Clear Once Again
First it was Reese. Then it was Kelsey. After her, Ava. Most recently, Audrey. And as of today, Charlee. That makes five models who have worn this same pair of clear flip flops in their sets. I know that fact has been driving some of you insane wishing you could have them. Truth is, however, more are on their way. Leah almost wore them last week, but we decided to save that set for a future shoot. One of Leah's friends who has yet to shoot, will most likely wear them too. How fun!
This set marks the first time these shoes were worn an indoor set. I was curious how well they'd show up in the photos, but under my light kit, they sparkled just as much. A couple of toe rings made their way into this one too just for some added silver bling.
As I said above, if these four sets are any indication of what I have in store for me with Charlee's upcoming shoots, we are all in for a treat! Each one is different enough from one another to offer fans of the different facets of foot fetishism something they will love. And although today was cut short due to some distractions (we planned to shoot six sets), I couldn't have asked for better results.
Thanks for giving me some time today, Charlee. You always do amazing work and are so much fun to be around. Best of all, you're a great friend and someone who always makes me feel creative and relaxed. I thank you for being you and I can't wait to share all these sets with your fans - with me being the biggest!
Oh, and just to tease all of you out there... Ava really wants to shoot with Charlee again soon and Charlee is on board to make that happen. The two of them together last time resulted in memorable sets. I know that will surely be the case again.
