A few weeks ago I was talking to Kaycee about getting together to shoot for the first time in two years. Her last shoot came in September of 2016 (see blog: " Monday's Shoot - Kaycee "). Needless to say, I missed my friend and her soft little feet! Kaycee has always enjoyed shooting with me and is one of only 18 models to join the site's 1K Club (1,000 photos). She's always been a hit with all of you and it's easy to see why. Kaycee is so pretty and has a style all her own. This week's comic themed set puts Melani into the 1K Club (1,000 photos). As 2018 draws to a close, the year is not going out with a whimper. The month of December is closing things out strong. Last week Mindee joined the 6K Club (6,000 photos) and this week Melani is becoming the 18th model to be inducted into the 1K Club (1,000 photos). As always, it's time to celebrate this wonderful model and all of the sets she's had published to the site with a footography blog. Three things I love: Mindee, feet, & roller coasters. I'm so lucky. I really am. One of my best friends just so happens to have two of the cutest damn feet around. She just also happens to be one of the sweetest, yet strongest women I know. I love her for all she's done for Soles of Silk , but it goes way beyond that. In the past I have called Mindee my muse. For those who do not know, a muse is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as, "a person who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist." Mindee is indeed, my muse - no mistaking that. On Friday, August 24, Mindee and I took a plane from Baltimore to Indianapolis where we set off on a three day long vacation. That vacation saw us hit up three different amusement parks and a cavern, before flying home from Louisville, Ky. It was an amazing time, with an amazing friend, and oh yeah... I brought my camera along! Now before everyone thinks that Mindee and I came away with a dozen or more sets since we had three days, I need to calm everyone down. The focus on this trip was the amusement park and the 16 roller coasters we'd get to experience. Yes, I'm a complete coaster junkie and have been itching to get out to the parks in this region for years. While we were out that way, if we had time, we'd try to squeeze in some quick photos. If not, the camera would stay in my luggage. After arriving in Indianapolis, we picked up our rental car and made our way downtown for a bit. This blog is a follow up from " Sunday's Shoot - Esmerelda ." Since I was not the only person to have plans with Esmerelda on Monday, I found some places to go visit for a few hours prior to our shoot. I also decided to check out some possible shoot locations while I was at it and found what I thought would be a good one for a sporty theme. Man, oh man... Did that ever result in a moment that irritated me beyond belief. This set marks the first time in 14 years that I had the police called on me while shooting. Once Esmerelda was ready to shoot, I picked her up at her hotel. She brought a couple of different outfits with her as we were planning on doing two sets. The first set was to be shoot at a track behind a high school a couple of miles from her hotel. We were decided to include her sneakers and some purple knee high socks with this one.
