Shelby has no qualms about shooting anything I throw at her. It seems like I have a lot of models who are ready to shoot some new sets. It'll be the first time for most of them in more than a year,  minus Allie , Juliet , Kaycee , and Ava , who modeled for all my 2020 sets. Now, a few months into 2021, I have more than 12 models who have said that they'd like to shoot again soon, with tonight's announcement. Last Monday I named nine different models in the blog, " Setting up Some Shoots Soon, Hopefully ," who have expressed an interest to do some new sets. It's trying times right now, but good content is slated to hit the site in the weeks to come. To say we are in trying times right now would be an understatement. People are sick and even dying. Many of us live in regions where we have been asked to stay at home. Some have lost jobs and some companies have shut down. As for me, I'm staying indoors, but my job allows me to still work. I'm working less hours, but the added stress of social distancing and still coming in contact with the public makes some days a struggle. At the start of this whole Coronavirus outbreak,  I didn't know what to think, honestly. On one news station I'd see people telling me to practically panic and prepare for the worst. On the next channel, I was being told that this isn't that big of a deal and more people die every day of other common ailments. So what did I do? Well, business as usual. The date was Sunday, July 9, 2017. Mindee and I were meeting up for a shoot. Nothing out of the ordinary, right? Wrong! That was the day that I shot my first ever mother/daughter combo when Mindee's mom, Shelby , made her debut (see blog: " Sunday's Shoot - Mindee & Her Mom, Shelby "). Today Mindee's mom joined in for the second time, but that's wasn't all! Nope! Not only did Mindee's mom come to shoot, but she brought along her mom, Mindee's grandmother, to get in on the fun as well. That's right, a grandmother, mother, daughter trio. Mindee & Shelby are the only mother/daughter combo I've had the pleasure to shoot. Having run Soles of Silk for 14 years and counting, I have shot my fair share of moms. I've also shot women who weren't moms who have since become one. To all you ladies I say, Happy Mother's Day! Whether it was trying to fit in a quick shoot while juggling their kid's sports practice, or cleaning up their mess of a house while I was on the way over to do a shoot, I say thank you! Even on those days you called me because your little one was sick and you needed to postpone, I appreciate you trying to give me some of your time. I adore you for all that you have done, or tried to do for me when you had just a little bit of time on your hands. I know life is busy and you all do so much. Even though that is true, you all still find the time to keep your soles soft and toes freshly pedicured. You make the time to be in front of my camera and take part in numerous interviews.
