Something happened today that had not happened in 956 days - Mindee shot brand new photos. If you're confused, I totally understand. Every few weeks a set of Mindee has been uploaded to Soles of Silk like clockwork. Her photo count has continued to rise, inching her closer to that vaunted 10K Club (10,000 photos). But yeah, it's true. For the last two years and seven months, Mindee has not shot a single new set. I honestly do not want to get into all of the reasons for this absence, but just know that a lot of trying things and hardships came her way in 2019. From there, the world was tossed head-first into the pandemic. Her job saw her working night and day, all while trying to squeeze in time for family and friends. Mindee is certainly her family's rock and a lot of people depended on her over these last few years.  There was no way I was going to add to her stress. For the first time ever, a model entered the one of the K Clubs in a set featuring 3 models. For the first time since December 13, 2018, when Melani joined the 1K Club (1,000 photos), we have another model set to join the distinguished group of now 19 models.  This model is none other than Allie .  In the three years since the site's last induction into the 1K Club, Charlee and Alice have risen to join the 2K Club and Mindee was Mindee, joining the 7K, 8K, and 9K Clubs. Her 6K Club induction came only a week before Melani's 1K induction too. Every year I have to make hard decisions. Ones that often get changed around so many times that I just have to finally say, "This is how it is and that is how it is going to be." Last year the pandemic put a hold on my frequency of shooting, resulting in only four models finding camera time for the site. Thankfully, I was sitting on so much unpublished content that things worked out just fine. Here in 2021, I was able to find more time to shoot, although it still wasn't like years past where I shot dozens upon dozens of sets. A few models have moved on from shooting and others have just been next to impossible to schedule. Still, just like every year, several models went above and beyond to earn a place as one of the year's Star Models. These are those models: 3 .
