This week's comic themed set puts Melani into the 1K Club (1,000 photos). As 2018 draws to a close, the year is not going out with a whimper. The month of December is closing things out strong. Last week Mindee joined the 6K Club (6,000 photos) and this week Melani is becoming the 18th model to be inducted into the 1K Club (1,000 photos). As always, it's time to celebrate this wonderful model and all of the sets she's had published to the site with a footography blog. The June 6, 2018 update saw newcomer, Audrey , join the Soles of Silk model roster as the 100th model to appear on the site. This week's update, June 13, will feature Mia Kay's debut. And now, the June 20 update will feature the third new consecutive model when Ava's first set makes its way onto the site. I know Ava through work and when she turned 18 last year, I told her she would be welcome to shoot for me, if that was of any interest to her. At first, she said she'd think about it. As time went on, she told me she was considering doing it. Knowing a few people who shot for me including Alice , Melani , and eventually, Maya , helped in that she knew what I did was legit and ultimately, fun. Right before she was schedule to go away for school, she told me she decided that she'd go ahead and do it. With the timing, I told her that maybe I could come out to where she goes to school and we could find some settings I'm not used to using. She liked that idea, ...

The featured set in this final update of the Melani's March to 1K event. On March 7, 2018 the first update of " Melani's March to 1K " was published to Soles of Silk . The four week long event saw, for the first time in site history, the same model appear in four consecutive updates. The idea for this event came to me late last year. I was thinking of a way to get a few extra sets of both Melani and Mindee onto the site in 2018. Melani shot 21 sets for me in 2017. She's been a regular update ever since her April 12, 2017 debut, having 510 photos on the site before this event even began. She now sits at 811, leaving her 189 from joining the 1K Club (1,000 photos). This will make her the fastest model in site history to join the 1K Club. As for Mindee, more on her in a bit. This set will be Melani's first during Melani's March to 1K. I like to give credit where it is due. Last year Melani was a huge addition to Soles of Silk . Only 18 at the time (turned 19 this month), she quickly fell in love with shooting after her April 12, 2017 debut. It didn't take her long to catch on and begin to see just how cute her little size 6 feet truly were. Many of you were a huge part of that with all your positive comments and likes on the Soles of Silk social media accounts, mainly on Instagram ( @SolesofSilk ). Many of her photos reach over 1,000 likes whenever I post them at this point. Now, however, it's time to focus on another 1,000. Sitting at 510 photos at the time of writing this, Melani has so many more sets waiting to be published.
