Life lately has been busy. I've been working long hours, closing a lot, and coming home totally drained. It honestly sucks because I've been feeling unmotivated with everything and haven't even been trying that hard to schedule shoots. Add in a few other factors like the extreme heat these last few weeks, and photos haven't even been on my radar. Still, I do miss getting with my friends and doing some new sets. For the last few weeks I have been chatting with Audrey about doing some new photos. She debuted last year, but we only got to shoot the one time (see blog: " Monday's Shoot - Audrey "). She was fun to shoot and was looking for a chance to do some more this year. She also said that she has a sister, named Bria , who was looking to shoot as well. Can you believe that it's July 6 and today was the first day that I shot solo sets with Mindee in 2018? Had she not teamed up with Reese back in February, these would have been the first photos she did all year (see blog: " Monday's Shoot - Mindee & Reese "). Crazy, huh? Especially when you consider that she shot 40 sets in 2017. Well, if she's looking to reach that mark again, she's got 36 more sets to go and 178 days left to do it. That's one set every 4.9 days. We doing it, Mindee? All kidding aside, this year has been a busy one for Soles of Silk's most photographed model. Between family, work, and every day life, my hard working friend deserves a little bit of a break. Not too long of one though! Well, unless that means I'm coming by for foot rubs as part of that break. I can deal with that. Oops, I'm kidding again. Damnit! For several weeks now Charlee and I had been talking about getting together for a shoot. We settled on today and were both very much looking forward to taking some new photos - and for all the foot rubs that would accompany them. Well, the day did not disappoint. We managed to get in four awesome sets and it was great getting her in front of the camera again. The day began a little closer to home. I was looking to emulate Alice's October 2016 Gummi Dicks set. Why? Well, that is something I am still not ready to announce just yet. But this set, as well as a few others that have been shot this year are all part of an upcoming plan of mine. I'll let you in on that plan in the coming months. Anyhow, onto this first set. Charlee doing some size teasing again - something she did awesome with a few years ago. Alice's feet are so big! And that's why I love them so very much! Since Alice burst onto the scene back in the spring of 2015 (see blog: " Monday's Shoot - Alice "), she's quickly become one of my most regular models. We met up a total of five times in 2015, shooting 11 sets - two of which were with Camille . In 2016 we met up five more times, shooting 11 more sets. That's 22 sets in two years! Yes, yes... I know, some of the sets haven't made it onto the site yet, but that's what happens when you shoot so many with one particular model. In just under two years Alice has become one of my go-to models. She's very similar to Mindee in so many regards. Both are super fun loving and casual. They love getting in some camera time. The two of them are always throwing ideas at me for future sets. And sometimes, I can even hit them up on a moment's notice for a quick set. That's exactly what happened for Alice's last set of 2016. Sh...

Yesterday... Talk about a roller coaster day of shooting - and no, I'm not talking about shooting at an amusement park here. Yesterday's shoot with Alice was months in the making. It was also one that started off with a bang, then turned into one that had me wanting to rip my hair out. Ultimately, however, Alice and I fought back and came away with some of the best photos that I feel that I've shot in some time. For any of you who have been reading this blog, namely the blog titled, " Wu's Feature History - Mindee 2016 )," you know that I had already named Alice as next year's feature model for Wu's Feet Links in the closing statement. With that in mind, we set out to make use of yesterday's photo destination, Seaside Heights, NJ, and go ahead and shoot that feature, which will be published in July 2017. More on that later.
