You know what's pretty cool? Having a friend ask me what I'm doing tomorrow because the weather is going to be nice and she'd like to shoot, if I was free. That's what Juliet did to me on Friday. Since she lives with Allie , she talked to her as well and the two of them agreed to make use of the good weather and get in a couple more sets. None of this was planned. The only thing I knew was that Allie was going to wear flats in one set and Juliet, a pair of boots in one of hers. Where we'd shoot and any other sets we'd do were all just a play as we go sort of thing. Here's how things turned out: Allie went first, shooting a set out on a pier while people curiously looked on. It's been three years since I last had Allie and her tiny size 5 feet in front of my camera. Our first shoot came on July 30, 2017, which you can read about in the blog, " Sunday's Shoot - Allie ." We did two sets that day and that was the plan for yesterday too. Well, until I screwed up and forgot to bring one of the props needed for our second theme. Nevertheless, we tried to squeeze in a second set with sneakers, but with the heavy overcast, it was just too dark and gloomy by time we finished our first set. For the first time in 3 years, I got to shoot with Allie. Boots & Thigh Highs... Oh My Allie's first set was always planned to be one with her wearing a Def Leppard shirt - her favorite band. Not only are Alice's big feet get dirty later on in this set when she goes out into the mud. In 2014 I had some blue balls. Well, I've had them a lot in my life, but in 2014 I was in a store and had a shopping cart full of them. Mindee and I had the idea to do a sports themed set featuring nothing but blue balls. We figured the symbolism would be evident and the theme, funny. We were right on both accounts. What the cashier thought that day I pushed that shopping cart up to her register, a girl in her late teens, I have no idea and I don't want to know.
