Layla's debut set was an instant hit with both fans and members. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Back in June I did an All- Madison featured update. This month I have decided to do the same with another regular model here on Soles of Silk. That model is Layla . Layla quickly became a hit on this site when I posted her first set on the site, which was her Fells Point Tugboat Set. Her dirty feet being bared in a public place drove people insane and people demanded more of her. I had shot three sets that day, but with her demand and my enjoyment in shooting her caused me to meet up with her several more times to get more sets in, each time getting some awesome shots. With all of her great shoots, it was getting hard to pick which ones to post first having so many in waiting and having to stick them in between updates with new and other models. Having been an entertainment editor for a newspaper for a few years and conducting the sole mate interviews on this site, I have gotten quite used to asking the questions people want to know. But when I opened my e-mail the other day I had someone seeking to interview me. This gentleman has conducted a number of interviews and stated he had a special interest in the leg and foot genre. His writing can be found on Collanter Magazine. I will keep you informed of this interview. I am looking forward to this. It should be fun! I had a recent conversation online with one of my models where we got to joking around and I told her I owed her a foot massage the next time we got together to shoot. She said, "sure."  I told her that I would, but wouldn't want to risk her man wanting to kill me. She told me he wouldn't care, so jokingly, I told her I'd be over in 10 minutes. This harmless conversation, however, led me to think about this subject, which has been brought up before, by members, friends and girls I have dated. Okay, so here is the question I pose to all of you males who are either married or are seeing someone: Would you allow another person to give your significant other a foot massage? At the moment I am not dating anyone, but in the past I have actually told girls

Have you ever noticed how many photographers for foot fetish sites use places like a park or marina as the backdrop for their photos? As of this update, the contributors featured here on Soles of Silk have nine sets (both of Steph's sets counted as one) that were done outdoors. And the Soles of Silk sole mates have so far combined for 17 published outdoor sets. I say published because there are a number of shoots that are awaiting your eyes for the future. So this begs the question, "Have you ever seen someone outdoors taking foot photos?" One of several sets I shot of Layla in Baltimore's Fells Point. In my day I have done dozens of outdoor photo shoots and quite a few of them were not in what you would call a secluded spot.
