Soles of Silk Blog

Beginning in 2015 I began naming Soles of Silk's Star Models, which was a listing of the three models who shot the most photos that calendar year. While putting together 2017's Star Model list, I began to wonder just who the site's Star Models were from 2004-14. That curiosity got the best of me and I decided to go ahead and retroactively name those star models in a blog series. I had quite a few surprises along the way too. (Remember: These are sets shot, not published during the course of the year.) In 2008 I met up with a handful of models and managed to come away with four sets of each of them - four to be exact. The fifth model on this year's list, however, shot nine sets to begin a three year run of shooting some of the site's best sets of the time period and doing so quite often. One of the most common emails I get are ones asking me about a particular status of someone's favorite model(s). A few years ago I did a series that informed people of the status of all the models on the site. Since that was some time ago and new models have since made their way onto the site, I figured it would be a good time to do an all new version. With 88 models on  Soles of Silk  as I write this, I have decided to break the series into 11 parts, each one featuring eight of the site's models.
