The last two days were supposed to be back-to-back shoots with two different new models, both of which are related. The shoot scheduled for yesterday was supposed to be with Camille , Kayleigh's younger sister. Unfortunately mosquitoes did a number on her feet on the Fourth of July so we rescheduled to this coming Sunday. She's been looking forward to posing her 18 year old feet for the first time, so be on the lookout for her in six days! Today's shoot didn't need to be postponed and was with Kayleigh's and Camilee's cousin, Rose . I've known Rose for years as we used to work with one another. I always told her if she'd like to pose for the site the door was open to do so. Until now, however, she never took me up on that offer. It was actually more than a year since I last met up with Rose, so when she sent me a text a few weeks ago and mentioned she was finally going to take me up on my offer, I was a little surprised. In case you hadn't noticed, I haven't done anything other than update blogs since 2015 began a little over two weeks ago. In all honesty, I was burned out with all the Soles of Silk 10 Year Anniversary blog entries at the end of 2014. Then add in doing the Wu's Feet Links Interviews and Columns blogs and I've been writing a ton lately. I needed to step back and recharge a little bit.  Now it's time, however, to get back into the swing of things and what better way to do that than to look at some of the ideas I have floating around for 2015? One of the biggest changes was in the changing of the guard when it came to who was spending the most time in front of my camera. For years it had been Madison . And while she had several updates in 2009, we only met up one time to shoot. Soon thereafter, Madison met a new boyfriend and quickly seemed to forget about all her friends. It was only a few hours ago when I was eating at an Italian restaurant with a friend I haven't seen in a few years. This friend is one of the most dependable models I've ever had on my site and one that current ranks as 7th among all of my models for the most photos published to the site with 1,284. This model is none other than Kayleigh . Kayleigh didn't waste time getting on the site, posing the day she turned 18 back in 2009. Since then, she posed regularly and I found her in front of my camera 19 different times in a three year span. And then she moved to Texas! Needless to say, my heart was broken. I loved shooting photos of my small-footed friend. Although I had several sets of hers that I hadn't published when she moved to Texas, the idea that she may no longer pose for me did occupy my thoughts. The two sets I posted to the site of Kayleigh in 2013 were both shot in 2012. Back to the present now. Kayleigh and I are eating way too much food for our bellies
