It was the site's fifth year online, which brings this series to the halfway point. One of the biggest changes was in the changing of the guard when it came to who was spending the most time in front of my camera. For years it had been Madison . And while she had several updates in 2009, we only met up one time to shoot. Soon thereafter, Madison met a new boyfriend and quickly seemed to forget about all her friends. Oh boy this one was hard! Coming up with a list of my 10 favorite photo sets from 2013 wasn't so easy. I tried coming up with some criteria to make things easier, which it did, but not by much. The only sets I considered for this list are the ones that were published during the 2013 calendar year. So regardless of when they were shot, it is the sets that went online for an update in 2013. That also means all the sets I shot this year that haven't been published were not considered. And just because it wasn't published to Soles of Silk itself, Aspen's Star Spangled Cutie Wu's Feetlinks feature gallery set wasn't eligible. Whew! I'm taking a few minute break here to let everyone know that I am in the midst of making some design changes to Soles of Silk . Truth be told, I really wanted to wait for a total site redesign, but that is on the bucket list right now. Time hasn't been on my side and I need to learn some current web design methods. I learned how to design sites in the early 2000's, so many things have changed. New splash page graphic The first change you'll see upon going to Soles of Silk is the splash page. I always liked the splash graphic featuring Madison and Mindee . But with Madison not having posed in years, I felt a change was due. Mindee , however, is still a big part of this site. Ever since our last shoot (see blog: " Today's Shoot - Colleen "), Colleen and I have been talking about doing another shoot. Our initial plan during our last shoot was to do three sets, but it was just too hot and we decided to just save it for another day. Well, today was that day and we shot two sets, not just the one we missed out on last time. I picked up Colleen around 1:30 p.m. and we were on our way downtown. Mindee had showed me a neat location during our last shoot (see blog: " Today's Shoot - Mindee ") and I decided to head back down there for at least one of Colleen's sets. When we arrived no one was around at all. We walked the entire waterfront area and decided on a spot with a unique view. Two benches, made from recycled ship parts sat side-by-side on a promenade where you could see the nearby sugar plant. Docked at the sugar plant was a large ship where cranes were busy offloading product from its compartments. For this first set
