4K Club - Kelsey's Footography


For only the second time in Soles of Silk's 20 year history one of its models is entering the 4K Club (4,000 photos). It will come as no surprise for those who frequent the site that this model is none other than Kelsey. Kelsey has been the most photographed model on the site since her return in 2022. As a matter of fact, it's five months to the day that she broke into the 3K Club back in October 2023. Talk about quick!

Five months ago Kelsey was the third model to earn her way into the 3K Club, joining both Mindee and Charlee. If you want to read more about her journey from 2,000 - 3,000, be sure to read, "3K Club - Kelsey's Footography."

While sitting in second place at exactly 4,000 photos, Kelsey still has a way to go if she wants to become Soles of Silk's most photographed model overall. That title is held by Mindee and has been for a very long time. Here is how the two stack up with their current photo counts:

  1. Mindee - 9,604
  2. Kelsey - 4,000

As you can see, Mindee's photo count more than doubles Kelsey's. If you go back just a couple of years, however, the difference between the two was three to four times more. This goes to show how much of an increase in camera time Kelsey has had in recent years. She's chipping away and is well on her way to joining Mindee in the 5K Club with all of her unpublished sets.

"Hopefully it happens even sooner than we expect," Kelsey said on making her way into the 5K and 6K Clubs down the road.

Even though Kelsey has been focused on quantity, she's been killing it in the quality department too. It's rare to have both quality and quantity come so easily. Whether we're outdoors or indoors, the two of us get into such a grove and end up with amazing results. It's hard to pick which sets I want to publish whenever it comes time to showcase Kelsey in an update. I love all of the sets we've done.

Speaking of published sets, here is a look back at the sets that took Kelsey from 3,000 to 4,000 photos:

Three of the sets above, The Trail, Go Bananas, and New Year's 2024 were featured in My Favorite Sets of 2023. Go Bananas was an honorable mention, New Year's 2024 came in 4th place, and The Trail took 3rd. She also had two other sets take honorable mention spots, with two others earning 8th and 6th place finishes respectively. Those sets, however, were featured in her previous footography.

Like I said, quality!

As much as I revel in the amazing work Kelsey has done, we are both eager to keep things moving. We have plans to shoot this month if everything works out to plan. I know many of you will be excited to see what she does next. Your love for her work is something she appreciates too.

"It makes me feel so good. It's even more of a reason to find more time to shoot," Kelsey said in her 3K Club Interview last year.

Last year, she clearly found that extra time, doing 25 sets. That was more than enough to earn her the top spot in the 2023 Star Models listing. In 2022 she also finished in the top spot with 10 sets.

"I'm glad to be able to earn the number one spot twice in a row," Kelsey said in her 2023 Star Model Interview.

Will she earn the top spot again in 2024? Time will tell. One thing is for sure though, she is loving her increased presence on the site. She also knows there is one person who is loving it even more. Me.

"I sure have been," Kelsey admits. "I think that you're loving it even more, though."

True, Kelsey. True.

I can't wait to be back on here again, maybe even later this year to write a whole new footography celebrating Kelsey's inclusion into the 5K Club. This woman deserves the praise and celebration. She has a lot going on in life, but is kind enough to share those soft little feet of hers with all of us on a regular basis. To that, I say, "Thank you, Kelsey! I can't wait to see them again soon."
