It is the eight go around in this "Would Love to Shoot" blog series here on the Soles of Silk blog. Below are three girls, none of which have posed for a single photo for me, but are ones I certainly would love to see do so. Will it happen? Who knows?  One thing I do know is I've come to love all the girls below based off the work they've already done. In some cases, I have talked with them and found them to be great people. Should their pretty little feet find their way in front of my camera, I sure will be one happy fella. If they don't, well, I'm going to remain a fan and keep doing what I do now - following them and enjoying their work. The following blog is a repost of a column I wrote at the end of 2012 about the day I spent with  Aspen  at Seaside Height, NJ. I am reposting the piece here as this week's update marks the publishing of the final set of the four that we did on that rainy day. Much like the "Today's Shoot" blogs I do now, this is a look at the day that was Labor Day 2012: Before  Aspen  did her first photo sets the day following her 18th birthday, we had already discussed going to the beach to do some sets.  Aspen  has always wanted to do some shots out in the sand in her bikinis. For the first time since I began the Soles of Silk blog I debated on not blogging about a shoot I had just done. Not that anything went wrong or I had a bad experience with the shoot - quite the contrary. Yesterday's shoot was amazing as I got to shoot a brand new model and make a new friend in the process.  So why did I think about not blogging about the shoot, you ask? Well, in the site's previous blog, " News & Notes - November 2013 ," I explained the upcoming "The 10 Lil' Piggies Project." The year is drawing to a close and I'm sitting here doing some much needed house cleaning for the site. While I was overly focused on shoots for the last few months, these last few weeks have allowed me to tackle some other much needed issues. In that piece I showcased the new header bars for both the guest and members area as well the new splash page graphic. Well, while I was at it, I'm also replacing all of the page graphics. I'm taking a few minute break here to let everyone know that I am in the midst of making some design changes to Soles of Silk . Truth be told, I really wanted to wait for a total site redesign, but that is on the bucket list right now. Time hasn't been on my side and I need to learn some current web design methods. I learned how to design sites in the early 2000's, so many things have changed. New splash page graphic The first change you'll see upon going to Soles of Silk is the splash page. I always liked the splash graphic featuring Madison and Mindee . But with Madison not having posed in years, I felt a change was due. Mindee , however, is still a big part of this site. Because of that I decided to make sure she was still featured here. Now you just get to see her with her cousin, Marcy . And don't worry, this fun soccer set will be on the site soon! Here we are again with another "Would Love to Shoot" blog entry. By now you should all know the deal. There are three girls below. Each one is someone whose work I've found online and admire. In some cases I might have made contact with the girls to introduce myself and a handful of those I might have discussed shooting. But in each and every case, these are girls who I think you should check out. And if I ever had the chance to meet them and take their photos for Soles of Silk , it sure would be awesome! If not, I'll just remain one of their many fans.
