This list was one of the hardest things I ever had to do for Soles of Silk . Trying to come up with my annual favorite sets lists is hard enough, but doing one for all 15 years of the site's existence... Yeah, not easy! When I first sat down to create this list, my first idea was to rank the number one sets from each year against one another. The more and more I thought about it, however, the less that made sense. Some years I had a bunch of really strong sets that I absolutely loved. Other years, especially some of the site's earliest, I don't feel as strongly about. So a second or third place set from one year might be better in my eyes than first place sets from other years. With that being said, I decided to go ahead and open it up to all of the sets on the site, including Wu's Feet Links feature sets. In my annual blogs I never include a Wu's Feet Links feature. I had so many things to consider this year when trying to determine my Favorite Sets of 2019. There were so many specialty sets to consider. Would I include all of the 15th anniversary remakes? How about the remasters? The 10 entries from Cereal Killers Month? Choices, choices, choices... After some thought and deliberation, the only sets I decided to exclude from consideration from this list were the remasters. Those sets all hailed from 2004 and aren't new to the site. All the other sets, however, those I deemed to be fair game. Before I showcase what 10 sets I picked as my favorites of 2019, I want to showcase three sets I picked as honorable mentions. In years past I always included honorable mentioned, but listed them at the bottom of the blog. Moving forward I am going to list them first and include a small photo sample from each. I had big ideas for 2019 when it came to Soles of Silk . I feel like I was able to make most of those ideas become a reality over the course of the year, but there ended up being a cost. That cost was shooting new content. Over the last few years, I made a few plans each and every month in the spring and summer to shoot new sets. What that meant for 2019, however, was that I was starting the year with just over two years worth of unpublished sets. That's a lot! Too much! As much as I love shooting new content, I needed to get these sets onto the site, and 2019 gave me the opportunity. For starters, 15 sets were slated to go onto the site as part of my 15th anniversary remakes. Then, during October, I had Cereal Killers Month, where another 10 sets made their way onto the site. Add in some other timely holiday sets and such, and I already had a calendar taking shape well before 2019 even began.
