Monday's Shoot - Kaycee

Image
Right about now Kaycee should be finished washing all the blood off of her body. Today's shoot saw her covered in it - a gaping wound on her side with her ribs exposed. No, she didn't get hit by a train or anything, but we actually did shoot on train tracks. Before I go any further, however, let me jump backward in time to preface this shoot. For several months Kaycee and I had been talking about doing a Halloween shoot for Soles of Silk . I showed her some of the ones I've done in the past featuring the likes of Kelsey ( Sample 01 / Sample 02 ), Kayleigh ( Sample 01 / Sample 02 / Sample 03 / Sample 04 ), and Layla ( Sample 01 / Sample 02 ) and she was overly excited to do one as well. But what to do? I wanted it to take it to the next level. Shortly after coming up with the idea to shoot a Halloween set I decided it would be nice to ask my friend, and soon to be model for Soles of Silk, Felicia , to help us out. Felicia is big into cosplay and has created so m

Fantasy Shoots - Trek Gals

Okay sci-fi nerds! Which camp are you? Star Wars? Or Star Trek? I grew up watching and enjoying both, but Trek was definitely on my television a lot more growing up. My father has always been a massive Trek fan and I've seen every episode from every series released - yes, even the animated one. I've also watched all the movies and own them on Blu Ray. So I guess you can classify me as a Trek nerd if you're the type that says you're either one or the other. Back in April I posted a blog titled, " Fantasy Shoots - Comic Heroines ." It was a repost of an older column found on Soles of Silk . It sparked the idea for me to begin a Fantasy Shoot series and now I'm here with the second installment. This installment is part repost as well. I say part because back in November 2012 I wrote a column titled, "Where I've Never Gone Before..." In it I talked about various foot massage scenes I've come across watching Trek episodes - and there were

The following blog is a repost (with some slight alterations and updates) of a column posted to Soles of Silk on Dec. 7, 2011. I'm sharing it again with great reception of the Captain America: Winter Soldier movie and the hype of the upcoming movies such as: Guardians of the Galaxy, Amazing Spider-Man 2, and X-Men: Days of Futures Past. By now you are probably aware that I am a huge comic book fan. When Mindee did her Power Girl feature set on Wu's Feetlinks and then Jamie did one with Batgirl ( Sample 01 / Sample 02 ), I knew I had the start of an ongoing series on my hands. Eventually Carlin would go on to do a Catwoman themed shoot ( Sample 01 / Sample 02 ), but that has been all that I have published to this point, although there have been, and currently are plans to do more.  Lela Beryl  even did a set with comic book cards that will be going online soon. Doing sets done with the sole mates with a comic book theme is one thing, but what if the heroines themselv
