You might have noticed that I haven't been posting as many shoot blogs as I have in years past. Truth be told, I have been working a ton in 2019 and my schedule hasn't been as open as I would like. Also, in 2017 and 2018 I shot so many new sets and I'm still sitting on just under two years worth of updates that have yet to be published. So, I don't "need" to shoot new content, but I have always have had fun doing it and I feel like I've been missing it lately. Thankfully I had the chance to shoot with Jasey Rae today for the first time since July 2018. She was long overdue and the perfect person to spend a few hours getting in some new photos. She too, was glad that we were finally getting some time to go do some new photos. Beginning in 2015 I began naming Soles of Silk's Star Models, which was a listing of the three models who shot the most photos that calendar year. While putting together 2017's Star Model list, I began to wonder just who the site's Star Models were from 2004-14. That curiosity got the best of me and I decided to go ahead and retroactively name those star models in a blog series. I had quite a few surprises along the way too. (Remember: These are sets shot, not published during the course of the year.) I always list the top three models for the Star Models blogs. Sometimes two models will tie for first, or second, but my aim is to feature three models in total. Well, when I began doing this retroactive series, I found that I had more ties than I had figured upon. This year was one of the years where I had a ton of ties. One of the most common emails I get are ones asking me about a particular status of someone's favorite model(s). A few years ago I did a series that informed people of the status of all the models on the site. Since that was some time ago and new models have since made their way onto the site, I figured it would be a good time to do an all new version.
