This blog series focuses on some of my former models who have either stopped modeling, moved, or are just someone I've lost touch with. In this installment, I focus on the ever so lovable, Bethany . Unlike the two models who proceeded Bethany in this series, Madison and Carmen , I wasn't very close to Bethany. She was introduced to me through Molly and her husband back in 2006. One day later I was lucky enough to shoot for Soles of Silk. Sadly, however, we only shot a handful of times. That being said, every single one of those shoots was nothing but fun! Bethany's first shoot came during a trip to Ocean City, Md. I had shot Molly on my first day of my mini-vacation and came away with some great photos. One of the most common emails I get are ones asking me about a particular status of someone's favorite model(s). A few years ago I did a series that informed people of the status of all the models on the site. Since that was some time ago and new models have since made their way onto the site, I figured it would be a good time to do an all new version. With 88 models on  Soles of Silk  as I write this, I have decided to break the series into 11 parts, each one featuring eight of the site's models. My two day trip started with doing several photo shoots of Molly and her size 11 feet. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. As you read last week, this week I went to the beach for several days and got to spend time and do photographs with the ever-so-popular Molly . We had an awesome place to shoot and we also ran out onto the beach for a few shoots as well. You'll be seeing some of those photos soon. But I had an unexpected bonus to the two day photo trip. Molly had mentioned shooting a friend of her's named Bethany .  "Bethany is shy," Molly told me beforehand so I didn't know if that meant she probably wouldn't do it. Well, the first night Molly had called and asked Bethany to come over and hang out with us in the hot tub. Bethany took her up on the offer and when she came by, I prayed Bethany would agree to pose for the site someday. Little would I kn

Next week we not only welcome Bethany to the site, but a new, larger photo size. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Up until now the images you have seen on Soles of Silk have been set at an 800 x 600 pixels resolution. Having a 19 inch monitor, the vertical photos fill the screen exactly. The horizontal ones, although the same size, leave a lot of the monitor's width empty. I have only had one person thus far express unhappiness with the resolution, but as of next week I am going to increase the photo resolution of the site's photos to 1024 x 768. The new file size will begin with the site's newest sole mate, Bethany . Bethany is this week's (Aug. 16, 2006) coming soon preview. Not a bad way to bring in the change.
