Life lately has been busy. I've been working long hours, closing a lot, and coming home totally drained. It honestly sucks because I've been feeling unmotivated with everything and haven't even been trying that hard to schedule shoots. Add in a few other factors like the extreme heat these last few weeks, and photos haven't even been on my radar. Still, I do miss getting with my friends and doing some new sets. For the last few weeks I have been chatting with Audrey about doing some new photos. She debuted last year, but we only got to shoot the one time (see blog: " Monday's Shoot - Audrey "). She was fun to shoot and was looking for a chance to do some more this year. She also said that she has a sister, named Bria , who was looking to shoot as well. I have had my vacation from Sunday, July 1 - Monday, July 9, scheduled for months now. In the lead up to this vacation, I was trying my hardest to make some plans to go to another amusement park, or two. That's when Mindee came to my rescue, saying that some of her plans fell through. She wanted to see if I was interested in tagging along with her and her family, and maybe doing going to an amusement park. I was happy and even posted a little shot of Mindee in front of a roller coaster from a past shoot on the site's Instagram ( @SolesofSilk ). Sadly, however, these plans had to be canceled on her side and I was left with absolutely nothing on my plate. So there I was, a blank calendar and a vacation I didn't want to burn. I decided to go ahead and see how many shoots I could set up, focusing heavily on models who haven't shoot in some time. Audrey was the 100th model to debut on Soles of Silk since 2004. Amber . Cierra . Lauryn . Lisa Tyler . Madison . Maria . Mindee . Sue Lovely . Those eight models bared their feet for me when I didn't have a site, just a vision back in 2004 of what I wanted Soles of Silk to be. Other models would follow shortly thereafter and over the years, dozens more have kicked off their shoes, got their feet nice and sweaty, stepped in some messy substances, and all around, had a fun time showing off their feet for you.  With the June 6, 2018 update a major milestone was reached.  Audrey and her adorable size 9 feet debuted, making her the 100th* model in just under 14 years to shoot for Soles of Silk. After seeing so many feet of all shapes and sizes, I was still just as happy to be in front of Audrey, watching her discover how pretty her feet truly are. We didn't know each other prior to her emailing me about possibly shooting. That has been something I've always love
