Monday's Shoot - Kelsey
After shooting with Kelsey four Mondays in a row and then not doing so last week, you probably thought we were done for a bit. If so, you'd be wrong. Kelsey and I found ourselves with a few hours of free time this Monday and got right back to shooting. We shot four more sets which gives her 24 total sets over these last six weeks - 44 total for the entire year so far.
Once again I had zero plans to shoot these particular sets. I figured our next shoot would come later this year and be indoors. We probably could have waited and done these sets then, but the weather was nice so why not? We still want to shoot some indoor sets later this year, so I'm not canceling those plans because we did these. More sets of Kelsey is not a bad thing. And I want her to do more than 50 this year because it just sounds cool to know she did that.
With all that said, let's take a looks at the four sets we did yesterday. Two of the sets were inspired by things I found online that I wanted to see Kelsey wear. The other two were ones we figured out last minute, but are ones I think fans will enjoy.
Set 1: Piggies!
A few weeks ago I came across these adorable socks on Amazon. I knew just who I wanted to see them on too. Kelsey, of course. I've always adored her plump little piggies and wanted her to have these socks.
To go along with this set, which you can see below Kelsey somewhat in the photo above, is a big plush piggy pillow. I thought it would look cute for Kelsey to have in this set too, although her 10 little piggies will certainly be the focus once those socks come off.
Set 2: Warm Black Flats
Having shot so many sets with Kelsey I was trying to figure out something even slightly different than what we've done recently. That's when flats popped into my head. I asked Kelsey if she had a pair and she said she had a pair of black ones. Bingo!
Before we began shooting, Kelsey was dangling them from her feet and I was loving the tease that she probably didn't even know she was giving. These shoes certainly were nice for some teasing partial views of what was to come.
Set 3: Even More Sneakers
When I found Kelsey's piggy socks, I went down the rabbit hole of looking for other things for her to wear. That always seems to result in me buying a few things, including some sneakers.
While Kelsey has worn a bunch of sneakers in these 24 recent sets, I certainly do not mind her doing more. I've always loved seeing Kelsey shoot sneaker sets, especially without socks. What's one more to add to the mix? Plus, it's more sneakers for her to eventually add to the next sneaker pile set we do too.
Set 4: Even More Socks
As for the last one, I thought about shooting a pair of orange knee high socks. It was just a bit too chilly to ask Kelsey to wear shorts, though. I didn't want to do them with jeans/pants as they'd mostly be hidden, so I switched it up to dark pink ankle socks.
Kelsey has worn a few pairs of these ankle socks in recent shoots too. I bought a few variety packs so I have countless colors. They're thin and very soft, which feels amazing on Kelsey's super soft soles. I'm sure she'll do a few more sets with these socks since I have all the other colors left to use.
Once again, I'd like to thank Kelsey for sparing a few more hours of her busy day off to shoot again. I've been having a blast these last few weeks getting in all these sets. I cannot wait to do it again. Who knows when that will be. With it getting colder and the sun not staying out as long, we'll end up indoors before long.
I'd also like to try to pair her up with both Charlee and Ava at some point soon. Keep an eye out for all those sets and any other last minute ones Kelsey and I might end up doing. Heck, maybe it'll be nice out again this coming Monday?
