Saturday's Shoot - Abby

Three Saturday's ago, on July 30, Abby and I met up to shoot. The plan was to do at least two sets, but try for more. Long story short, we ended up doing only two. We spent so much time bullshitting that we ran out of time. WWE's Summerslam was starting as we finished up the second set and we also had plans to watch that together. Yes, Abby is a wrestling fan too, so could you ask for a more chill day than doing some foot fetish photos and watching a WWE event? Check out the blog, "Saturday's Shoot - Abby," published on August 1, 2022, for that day's happenings.

One of the sets we planned to do on July 30, one Abby was really looking forward to, involved acrylic paint. The two of us met in high school taking art classes together. We then later attended the same art college while dating. Needless to say, the art theme just made too much sense. Well, that and Abby wanted to pour paint all over her feet and create some modern art. It would just have to wait a couple more weeks, which turned out to be a blessing.

On Saturday, August 13, I was back at Abby's house and not only did we shoot the paint set, but we turned the art theme into a two-part set. One of the two kept her feet clean and bare. The second one though, wow, you'll just have to see as you read on.

Set 1: Artsy, Pt. 1 - Markers

The night before the shoot Abby and I were texting back and forth about the shoot. We wanted to do two sets and knew the paint theme would be the finale. What would we do first, though? We tossed around a couple of things, but after a few minutes, I had an idea.

Awhile ago I let Abby borrow my massive set of Prismacolor markers. I hadn't used them for the longest time, so I'm glad to see Abby get some use out of them. On Saturday though, I made use of them for the first time in ages. No, I didn't draw or color anything. I decided to use them in my photography and turn both sets into a series. Part 1 would be the markers and Part 2, the paint. Abby loved the idea too.

We shot the markers set first since I always save the messy sets for last. Whether it's food, dirt/mud, or in Saturday's case, paint, it's just easier to do all the clean up at the end of the shoot. Plus, with all those things you sometimes run the risk of roughing up, or even staining the model's feet. Just ask Charlee about her green Incredible Hulk feet after her popsicles set.

For the fans of clean, bare feet, this set will be the one you love. Abby's tender, wrinkled soles are on display a ton throughout this set. She also painted her nails with different color blocks to pay homage to the Dutch painter, Piet Mondrain. In this set, you'll get to see that much better than in the follow up set. Once the paint came into play in Part 2, yeah, her feet resembled something more along the lines of Jackson Pollock.

Set 2: Artsy, Pt. 2 - Paint

As you can see from this photo, I wasn't joking about Jackson Pollock. Abby's feet served as the means to create several paintings throughout the set and clips. Let's be real though, her feet turned into art as well. Sticking to the primary colors, red, blue, and yellow, she went all out in squirting paint onto her toes and down her soles, before squishing them onto multiple canvases.

For those of you who enjoy tickling, Abby had several soft paint brushes at her disposal in this set. Her soles are some of the most ticklish I've put on camera, so just know that she was wincing from time to time trailing those brushes down her wrinkled soles. I knew that would be a bit of torture, but also knew it would look good in the photos.

In hindsight, I'm so glad Abby and I spent so much time talking and wasting time a few weeks ago. Shooting these two sets separately gave us the chance to refine what we wanted to do and improve on the idea. It also allowed us to shoot earlier in the day and have the sun shining through the nearby windows. We liked the effect that gave on the walls behind her and every once in a while, even on Abby herself.

I know Abby is looking forward to these sets making it onto the site. She's not the only one though as I love how well these turned out. It's always awesome to use themes that fit my models. In this case, it fit not only Abby, but our past as well. It truly just adds something a little extra to the set.
