Soles of Silk - 2010's Star Models
Beginning in 2015 I began naming Soles of Silk's Star Models, which was a listing of the three models who shot the most photos that calendar year. While putting together 2017's Star Model list, I began to wonder just who the site's Star Models were from 2004-14. That curiosity got the best of me and I decided to go ahead and retroactively name those star models in a blog series. I had quite a few surprises along the way too. (Remember: These are sets shot, not published during the course of the year.)
Something happened in 2010 that had never happened before when it came to those who have been named Star Models. No model had shot 10 or more sets in a single calendar year until now. And the best thing about the model who accomplished this rare feat... she was brand new to the site and didn't start shooting until July!
Now, onto 2010's Star Models:
2. (tied) Cierra
Debuted: 2004
# of sets posed for in 2010: 8
For the third straight year Cierra is one of Soles of Silk's Star Models. We began the year off early. We rented a hotel suite in Ocean City, Md. with the idea to shoot a Valentine's Day themed set in the room's heart shaped hot tub. That wasn't our only set, however, as we shot all over the room and got in some amazing sets. Of course, I also got in lots of time rubbing those sweaty feet of Cierra's before, during, and after those sets.
Although Cierra only topped the Star Model listings from 2008-10 once, it isn't hard to see just how amazing the run was. Coming in with 22 photo sets, no one else came close during that time period. Cierra was amazing and the wealth of photos that we shot put her well on the way to becoming the site's first ever inductee to the 2K Club (2,000 photo mark).
2. (tied) Jordana
Debuted: 2006
# of sets posed for in 2010: 8
Making her second appearance as a Star Model, Jordana always came through with some amazing sets. In 2010 we met up a couple of times, instead of just once as we had in previous years. During those two meets we were able to shoot eight sets that were some of the best sets I captured of her. I'm sure we would have been able to do even more had I not spent hours rubbing her feet. Foot rubs with Jordana were the norm and who was I to complain? She sure didn't mind, often ending nights after our shoots by falling asleep with her feet in my loving hands.
1. Jamie
Debuted: 2010
# of sets posed for in 2010: 10
As of 2010 no model had ever debuted like Jamie. Turning 18 in July, the day after her birthday we were in Wildwood, N.J., a popular oceanfront town, shooting some amazing sets. I guess you can say, it helped Jamie make such a splash! Yeah, a horrible pun, but still true nonetheless.
We made the most of that day shooting five sets. Then in the weeks and months to come, Jamie was hitting me up asking if she could shoot some more. I said yes and we shot a few more, including the one above in our mutual friend's room of bobble heads. We weren't done yet, however, as she managed to get in some sets with another mutual friend, and fellow foot model, Charlee. I spent hours that day rubbing both of their feet as we shot, and then back at Charlee's place as the ladies enjoyed some pizza. Seriously, they sat there eating pizza and I took turns rubbing their feet. They... okay, we, were loving life!
Although both records of shooting 10 sets overall and 10 as a rookie will eventually be broken subsequent years, Jamie will always hold the honor of doing it first and setting a benchmark that few models have followed.

I wanted to see which models made the most appearances throughout the years and who actually shot the most, well, the most? Wanting to know this information, I decided to share the results at the conclusion of these blogs as they progress. I will include this on each and every installment moving forward.
