Another year came and went and another trivia contest has run its course. A few entries came in right off the bat, and a few came in right before the cut off date. Only 10 people took part this year, which worked out since there were only 10 prizes being given. So yet again, everyone comes away with some free membership time to Soles of Silk !  [ Correction : After publishing this blog, I noticed a missed an entry. This means 11 entries had been submitted, with the 11th actually having a score worthy of a 3 month membership. I am giving all 11 people prizes. Only one person answered that one correctly, with most people falling for my intended swerve. So I found out last week that Blogger , the site this blog is hosted on, has the ability to backdate blog entries. The entire time I've been using this blog, I had no idea that this was the case. Over the weeks and months to come, as I'm not sure how much work will be involved in this task, I plan to republish all the old Soles of Silk columns to this blog and backdate them. I have already done this with the very first column published to the site on December 31, 2004 titled, " Welcome to Soles of Silk ." All of these old columns have always been housed inside the members only section of the site. It wasn't until I began this blog on March 3, 2013 did my writings become public. So today something happened that has happened countless times since I opened Soles of Silk in 2004 - I did a photo shoot with Mindee . Although this is something we've done many times, it's always awesome when I'm able to shoot the site's most photographed model. Today was no different. Mindee and I met up around 1 p.m. We discussed a few ideas for sets, but decided to more or less, just go with the flow. The only theme, if you will, that we decided to do was one with some comic book themed apparel and books. We had wanted this theme back during our mini-vacation a few months ago, but weren't able to. Well, we did today and it was the first set that we did. Mindee doing a set my fellow comic book fans will love. For this first set we took a drive to a waterfront area I've used before.
