One of several shoots Alice was really looking forward to at the beach. Things don't always go according to plan. That's something I've learned quite well these last 15 years. The reasons are numerous - locations don't work out, the weather turns for the worst, my models or myself have something come up, etc. For the most part, a lot of these turns for the worst happen before I even step foot outside to meet up for a shoot. Other times, however, things will happen while out with my models and things come crashing down. Those are the worst because not only am I disappointed, but so are my models. This is exactly what happened on what I consider my best day of shooting too. Things we looking great, took a massive turn for the worst, but then did a 180 degree turnaround back for the best. This week's set puts Alice into the 2K Club and is also a 15th Anniversary Remake. Just seven days ago Soles of Silk saw it's third model enter the elusive 2K Club (2,000 photos). Charlee , after debuting in 2009, joined both Cierra and Mindee as the only models to accomplish this feat. Well, just one week later, those three members become four. Let's welcome Alice and her size 11 feet into the 2K Club. Debuting only four years ago, on May 6, 2015, Alice joins this club faster than any model previously has. Life lately has been busy. I've been working long hours, closing a lot, and coming home totally drained. It honestly sucks because I've been feeling unmotivated with everything and haven't even been trying that hard to schedule shoots. Add in a few other factors like the extreme heat these last few weeks, and photos haven't even been on my radar. Still, I do miss getting with my friends and doing some new sets. For the last few weeks I have been chatting with Audrey about doing some new photos. She debuted last year, but we only got to shoot the one time (see blog: " Monday's Shoot - Audrey "). She was fun to shoot and was looking for a chance to do some more this year. She also said that she has a sister, named Bria , who was looking to shoot as well.
