One of the most common emails I get are ones asking me about a particular status of someone's favorite model(s). A few years ago I did a series that informed people of the status of all the models on the site. Since that was some time ago and new models have since made their way onto the site, I figured it would be a good time to do an all new version. With 88 models on  Soles of Silk  as I write this, I have decided to break the series into 11 parts, each one featuring eight of the site's models. The fourth Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest is done, judged, and in the books. It's time to announce the winners and show off thumbnails of those who won. All 17 entries are available at their full size in the Downloads area of the site. Initially I announced that there would be six total prizes awarded: three 3-month prizes and three 1-month prizes was the original plan. A grand prize and runner up prize would be awarded for artwork based on each of the three models: Marcy , Mariah , and Mindee . Well, I changed the prizes and for the better! With the changes, there are more chances to win, and chances to win more than the 3-months maximum I had originally planned. Well, you win some and you lose some. While there are still seven days left to submit your entries for the 2014 Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest , the turn out thus far has been close to non-existent. I am writing this blog as a last ditch attempt to see if people have just missed out on the fact that the contest is going on. I've plugged it here on the blog, Twitter , the Wu's Feetlinks Forum , and on Soles of Silk itself, so I don't think that's the case. I've run this contest only three times in years past with varying degrees of success. The first contest where people could do designs of Chloe , Layla , and Precious had 24 total entries. The second contest with designs based on Bethany , Jordana , and Madison saw only nine entries. The third contest, which featured Cierra , Jaylee Austin , and Lady Steph had the most entries with 29. At this point, I'm guessing this fourth installment will turn out to be along the lines of the second contest.

Now that 2013 is over and done, it is time to look forward to 2014. I have a lot of existing content ready to go over these cold winter month that you're all going to love. But when spring comes closer, I'm going to be itching to pull the camera out and have lots of bare feet in front of me. Once the piggies come out to play, there are so many things I'm looking forward to. Some things I'm already planning, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed on some others. So... onto the wish list!
