Soles of Silk Blog

One of the most common emails I get are ones asking me about a particular status of someone's favorite model(s). A few years ago I did a series that informed people of the status of all the models on the site. Since that was some time ago and new models have since made their way onto the site, I figured it would be a good time to do an all new version. With 88 models on  Soles of Silk  as I write this, I have decided to break the series into 11 parts, each one featuring eight of the site's models. I hope this helps you learn a little more about the status of each one of the models on the site whose work you enjoy! Sometimes you can overly plan, think you have everything laid out perfectly, and then it just doesn't work out. Luckily that doesn't always mean everything comes crashing down on the day, however. Today was one of those days. For months I've been chatting with Mandy about getting back together for some more photos. She had only posed for the single set in 2013, when she debuted. It was very hot that day and we got delayed by a mother and child who wanted to hang out right where we were taking photos. Well, the same thing happened a few times on Sunday too, but more on that later. Where things went wrong today began when I picked up Mandy from her house. I forgot to grab a bag full of knee high socks that we intended to use in one of her sets. Today marks the third new model to be added to Soles of Silk in 2013, with Alaynah debuting in January and Shae Spreadz in February. Welcome Mandy , a friend and former coworker. I made mention of Mandy back in May in a blog titled, " Upcoming Soles of Silk Shoots ." For those who may have missed the blog, here is what I had to say about Mandy - who was listed under the header, "A Friend from the Past:" During a recent  Facebook  conversation with a friend, she asked me why I never asked her to pose for my site. I told her it was because she once told me she had ugly feet, so why would I ask? She laughed and said that although she's not the best judge of feet, she more or less meant that her feet weren't pedicured and were not looking their best at that time.
