2K Club - Ava's Footography

For only the eighth time in Soles of Silk's history one of my models is joining the 2K Club (2,000 photos). I couldn't be any happier to announce that the model doing so this time around is Ava. She has shot so many amazing sets over the years, some of her most recent we will be celebrating here.

Before we move into Ava's accomplishments, let's first look at how all the models who have entered the 2K Club achievement stack up when it comes to photo count. This will soon change with a couple of other models close to joining the 2K Club as well, but this is how they currently sit as of the November 13, 2024 update:

Ava debuted back in 2018, shooting alongside our mutual friend, Carmella. We only managed to shoot a few sets throughout 2018 and 2019, but late into 2020, Ava did a Ravens themed set and one with a pair of gray sneakers once some of the Covid limitations came to an end. I thought both sets were her best work to date. Those sets, however, were just a sneak peek as to what was to come.

In 2021 Ava had a breakout year. I loved every single set we shot, with three of them appearing on "My Favorite Sets of 2021," with a 1st Place, 4th Place, and Honorable Mention placement. 

It would play out the same way in 2022 with three more of her sets appearing on "My Favorite Sets of 2022." This time around she'd finish with a 1st Place, 4th Place, and 7th Place. Her 1st Place set was one she shot the same exact day as the one that earned her the 1st Place spot on the 2021 list. Talk about a day to remember. Her 4th Place and 7th Place were ones she shot with Charlee in the Spring of that year. That was another amazing day of photos and I need to get those two back together again at some point.

The set which earned her 1st Place in 2022 was also the set that put her into the 1K Club (1,000 photos). At the pace she was shooting between 2021-2022, I figured her placement into the 2K Club would be only a few months away. That, however, was not the case.

In 2023 Ava and I did not get a chance to shoot new content. We stayed in touch, but due to several factors, we would not get together until earlier this year. And with her back, we decided to catch up on that lost time. She didn't miss a beat!

Although all of the set's we've shot this year are yet to be published, here are the ones that have, along with the ones she shot back in 2022 that have her earning her placement into the 2K Club:

Talk about some more amazing sets featuring Ava and those powerful size 9's! And speaking of powerful, this week's update was one she jumped at the chance to do earlier this year. We found time to shoot some extra sets, but didn't have a plan in mind. That's when she found the blue balls in my bag. It was a theme we already did back in 2021 and I guess she found it so fun that she wanted to do it again. 

This time around Ava has a lot more balls to squeeze, slap, and beat up a few other models such as Leah, Dakota, Kelsey, and Roxy had all used them recently, so I guess Ava wanted to reclaim them as her own? I'm here for it! Since Ava is so fun to shoot, seeing her go to town on those big bloated blue balls again was a blast. I'm sure she'll want to do it again one day too. Maybe alongside Charlee or maybe even Kelsey. She's been wanting to shoot with for a couple of years now. I really need to make that happen.

If I were you, I'd fully expect to see a couple of Ava's sets making their way onto 2024's listing of my favorite sets. That Light Pink Sneakers set, like so many of her other sneaker sets, I adore like no other. And speaking of sneakers, Ava knows just how much I love seeing her feet coming out of them without socks. She's always bringing her newest shoes along to shoot and I never turn it down. She even brings back favorite pairs of mine like in the teaser below. This set will be coming your way soon, however, so you're just going to have to wait. I'm sorry! Ava does enjoy teasing, so chalk it up to that!

Before I wrap this up I want to thank Ava for all she's done for me since her debut. She has done so many memorable sets and I cherish our time together when we're able to shoot. Our schedules don't always match up, but when they do, we surely make the most out of it. I hope we get a chance to put those big feet in front of my camera, and of course, in my hands again soon.
