Return of Kim T. & Congrats to Marcy
Kim T. is back! She's another model who used to pose for me prior to Soles of Silk. |
Kim T.'s Return
The year was 1998. I had just submitted photos of my then girlfriend, Abby, to Leg Show magazine. It was right around that time that we saw some photos from another Maryland couple printed as well. We began mailing each other back and forth through our post office boxes and after months, decided to meet.
Come to find out, this couple lived less than 10 minutes from us and over the next year, we did a handful of photo sets together and became friends. A year later I was single, but I still remained friends with Kim T. and her husband.
Fast forward 10 years and I haven't seen Kim or her husband for years. Out of nowhere a few months ago Kim sends me a text message asking me if I have any carpet cleaner. Shocked, I ask her if she knew who she was texting - after all, I wasn't even sure if that number still belonged to her. Long story short, she sent the text to the wrong person, but we got to talking. Some things have changed in Kim's life that I won't get into here, but she asked me if I was still doing photos. I told her about Soles of Silk and she expressed an interest in once again posing for me.
Having already seen the photo above you can probably figure out that Kim T. posed for me again. Over the weekend I met up with my pudgy toed friend and took photos of her once more. We did three sets and the one above is from her oily feet set. It actually started raining during that set, but we stayed mostly dry under the cover of a tree. I won't go into too much detail as I'd rather you enjoy the set when it goes up in a couple of weeks. I know, the delay is killing you.

Marcy's mom sent me this photo of her daughter's feet on prom night. |
Congrats to Marcy
While here I'd also like to shift focus from Kim T. onto another model - that model being Marcy. The photo below is pretty much the exact opposite of her Covered in Mud photo set this week. While driving home from the store a few days ago, Marcy's mom (who was supposed to pose, but changed her mind) texts me the photo below. It was taken the day of Marcy's senior prom. She thought I would appreciate it and it sounds like she took it just for me. A few days later, Marcy also emailed me the photo, not knowing that her mom already had sent it.
Before I go, I'd just like to say congratulations to Marcy and the class of 2010. I say the class of 2010 because during the course of the next few months, a few more sole mates that just graduated will be joining the ranks when their feet turn 18.
