2016 Soles of Silk Model Statuses - Part 3 of 11

Image
One of the most common emails I get are ones asking me about a particular status of someone's favorite model(s). A few years ago I did a series that informed people of the status of all the models on the site. Since that was some time ago and new models have since made their way onto the site, I figured it would be a good time to do an all new version. With 88 models on  Soles of Silk  as I write this, I have decided to break the series into 11 parts, each one featuring eight of the site's models. I hope this helps you learn a little more about the status of each one of the models on the site whose work you enjoy! Briezzy Lane Last Update : February 17, 2010 # of Published Photos : 126 Status : Lost Contact I only had Briezzy Lane's super long toes in front of my camera for a total of three sets. All three sets were shoot on the same day and that was the last that I ever saw of them in person. Briezzy was traveling with her friend, and fellow Soles of Silk mode

Models I Miss - Carmen

This was one of the sets I shot of Carmen upon her return to the site in 2007. "I love my high arches. Barbie always had them, so they make me feel ultra feminine." - Carmen: Introductory Interview Welcome to the second entry into the Models I Miss series here on the  Soles of Silk Blog . If you missed the first entry, " Models I Miss - Madison ," this blog series is going to focus on some of my former models who have either stopped modeling, moved, or are just someone I've lost touch with. Here, in this second installment, I focus on none other than Carmen . When I opened Soles of Silk on December 29, 2004, I did so with eight models. Carmen was not among them. I had asked her to pose for me during the spring and summer months of 2004, but due to being in a relationship at the time, she declined. She, however, really wanted to do it. It didn't take long for Soles of Silk to gain it's first new model to the roster. On December 12, 2005, S

Soles of Silk - June News & Notes

Image
June is setting up to be a month that has some amazing potential, although all of my plans are not 100 percent at this time. It's been a while since I've given everyone insight into some of what the immediate future holds, so I decided to take a break from my busy (as of late) schedule and let you all in on some potential awesome stuff. The last set I had of Mindee was posted this week. Many more will be shot soon! Mindee Galore! This week saw Mindee's blue balls set ( Sample 01 / Sample 02 ) published to the site. It's a set we shot back in 2014 and one I held onto when she informed me that she was moving to Georgia later that year. When I learned that Mindee was moving back to Maryland in early 2015, I was eager to get this set online, but then I got an idea. What if I did a sister set using the same socks Mindee wore and a slight spin-off of the blue balls theme? Mindee left the socks in my camera bag, so I still had them at my disposal.  I ran the ide

Monday's Shoot - Kaycee

I was so excited for the three day span of Sunday, May 31 through Tuesday, June 2. I set up shoots with three different models, one of which was to fall on my birthday (today). Well, things didn't exactly go as planned and in the grand scheme of things, but what I was able to shoot, I am very happy with. Sunday was supposed to mark the return of Amber to Soles of Silk . She hasn't posed since 2004 - back before I had even launched the site. She was one of my original eight models. I was so happy to be having her back. Sadly, she texted me from work on Sunday to tell me her coworker called out due to an emergency and she wouldn't be getting off until late that evening. Amber even got her toes done with a cute, simple design, that I loved (see below). Oh well, good things come to those who wait. It's been 11 years now, what a few more weeks? Amber's pedicure for Sunday. Tuesday's plans also never quite got off the ground as I talked with Carlin about d
