Cierra , a friend of mine for many years, has become one of the site's mainstays and someone who is always looking forward to doing something whenever we can get together. Just have I have done in the past with the other footographies, I'm going to explore some of the experiences I've had with this energetic little friend of mine and look at all the sets she's posed for, both posted and yet to be posted. June. What a great month. On June 2, I celebrated my 29th birthday. I went out to the amusement park and rode a bunch of roller coasters and of course, I saw tons of girls in flip flops and sandals. I'm telling you man, between that day and a quick stop at the mall yesterday, I saw more cute female feet than I could take in. It was like an overload. I began not even noticing all the ones coming by as there were too many to look at. I did, however, see a bunch of the brightest color toes at the mall.  Two girls, who I assume were sisters, had this bright orange polish. I'm telling you, this orange was so vivid, it actually hurt your eyes to stare at as they moved their little feet around. Another thing I saw a lot of was the bare soles when girls took a step. Yes, I have light set ups that I use for indoor shoots, but I just love doing my shoots outside. The light is better in general and I like finding new and interesting backgrounds to do shoots in. Madison is so deserving of representing Soles of Silk in a Wu's Feet Links feature set. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. Usually an overdose is a bad thing. But when you get an overdose of Madison's size 8.5 feet, it's far from that. This week we get so much Madison , some of you might just suffer from the symptoms associated with a Size 8.5 Overdose. Those symptoms are: strained eyes, sore wrist, drooling, and of course, if any of you suffer from an erection lasting more than four hours, you should seek medical help. Sorry, I just had to! One of only nine entries in this installment of the Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. It was archived and then republished here in 2016. After the first Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest turn out, I was expecting about the same and hoping for more in the way of entries. Things weren't to be this time around, however as only nine entries came in from four different artists. Don't get me wrong, these entries were on par with what was submitted the first time around. I just thought more would have took the chance at winning either a 1-month or 3-month membership. I gave at least a 1-month membership to all of those who entered last time, so this time around, I decided to give all four artists the grand prize 3-month membership award. Well, well. It seemed like it took forever, but the majority of the clips that appeared on the site in various formats and sizes have all been upscaled and remastered into the current format. I say majority for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that a few of these clips have holiday themes. When I was remastering five clips per week for the last few months, I would time the holiday clips (ie. Halloween and Christmas) to fall on the weeks of that holiday. Being I have finished remastering before Valentine's Day, for example, I will add those Valentine's Day clips in on this year's Valentine's update. Madison feet have been in more than 1,000 photos - making her the site's first model to do so. The blog below was originally published in  Soles of Silk's  Column section. Nope, but that would be super cool and I am sure you'd all want one! The 1,000 I am talking about here stand for photos. Madison was the first model to reach 1,000 photos in her galleries. Between her solo galleries and galleries where she's posed with the likes of  Lauryn , Molly , and Bethany , she has a grand total of 1,064 photos at the time of this column. I just posted a 90 photo gallery dedicated to my favorite aspect of those size 8.5 feet and that is her long narrow soles. Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year. I ended up falling asleep on a friend's couch and slept like crap all night. Once I got home around 9 a.m., I fell quickly asleep in my own bed and didn't get up to almost 5 p.m. Ouch! So here we are in 2008 and I have some new ideas and plans for this site. As an artist and creative person, I always strive to keep things fresh, but never to detract from the total package of what it is I am working on, in this case, Soles of Silk. I want to wish each and every member a happy holidays and say thank you for your membership to this site. When I started this site in 2005 I planned to do pretty much the same thing I had done with my old site in the years before. Over the years I've tried my best to introduce new items, whether it be sections, content and of course models. Models leads me to the next group I'd like to thank. When I started this site at the end of 2004, which opened on December 29, 2004, I had eight total models. Those models were:  Amber , Cierra , Lauryn , Lisa Tyler , Madison , Maria , Mindee and Sue Lovely . Presently there are 41 models on the site. I couldn't do this without any of you. So if you're reading, thanks for all the great sets and ideas you've brought to the site....
