Earlier this week I met up with Ava and shot her first sets of 2021 (see blog: " Tuesday's Shoot - Ava "). In that blog I mentioned that she and I were getting back together again on Thursday to shoot a few more sets. After that blog was published, however, we decided to push the new shoots to Saturday.  Today's shoot, Ava's first ones indoors, came out amazingly yet again. Ava's sets have always been great, but ever since the ones we did last year, I feel like she's stepped things up a few notches. I'm sure you'll agree when you see the samples from these newest sets. Set 1: I Love Ballbusting On Tuesday, I mentioned a shoot theme that we decided to save for our shoots later in the week. The set above was that theme. I had a feeling that if we had tried to shoot this set at the rec fields on Tuesday, a bunch of people would have been in the area, or come after we began. Last year, in late August, Ava shot two new sets for site and man... they were amazing. The one, a Ravens-themed set, made its way onto my listing of my " Favorite Sets of 2020 ." The second one didn't get published until this year, but I'll tell you know, it's up there on my early list of favorites for this year's listing. Well, it looks like Ava might have just added two more sets that could challenge as some of my favorite sets for 2021, especially the second one we did. It's so good! Let's take a look. Set 1: Gucci Slides Ava's first set on the day saw her wearing some Gucci slides. She brought these with her because we changed our plans ust hours before meeting up. Finding out that Ava was also open to shooting again later this week, I decided to hold off on one of the sets so we could do it indoors. Well, the Dream Duo of Allie and Alice from Tuesday's blog, " Dream Duos #11 - Alice & Allie ," still remains a dream. For now.  The three of us had plans to meet up for a few sets today, but some things came up on Alice's end. Thankfully Allie was more than happy to take the spotlight entirely on herself in Alice's absence. As for me, I was just happy I would still come away with a few sets nonetheless. Allie and I used a large grouping of rocks out in the middle of the river for a set. Set #1 - On the Rocks With the change of plans, Allie and I made due with what we had and what was around us for the setting. Since we were at a rather large waterfront park, we had lots of options. People were out and about enjoying the day. Of course they were. It seems like every chance I get to shoot with Allie, people just want to come by and get in our backgrounds, or come real close to where we're shooting. Allie is back at it again this year, shooting the first new sets of 2021. It just feels right that 2020's top ranking Star Model, Allie , would be the first person to shoot a new set for 2021. The day wasn't easy though. Nothing was working in our favor. Every few minutes, another challenge. It made us feel that we were shooting a lesser version of the idea we had envisioned. Still, the results came out better than expected and you'll be getting to see them soon with next week's Easter update. The original plan for yesterday had Allie and I shooting two sets. The first one would be an Easter Egg Hunt theme, which was our number one priority. The second was a muddy feet set since it had rained heavily the day before. Muddy wet grounds were everywhere too, so it would have been easy to shoot. Well, that would have been the case had the Easter set not took so long. Let me explain.
