For the last few weeks Abby and I have been talking about what to do for the set we had planned to shoot today, October 6. I thought of a few possible locations in the days leading to today, but when the Orioles swept the Detroit Tigers in three games in the American League Divisional Series, a new idea blossomed. Earlier in the year I had planned on doing an Orioles set with Aspen , but due to her standing me up for the shoot and then moving on in life from me and pretty much all of her friends, I was left without the set. As the season went along, I decided too much time had passed from opening day to have someone else do it. Well, now that we've made the playoffs and advanced to play the Kansas City Royals in the American League Championship Series, there is certainly reason to show some hometown pride! For the second time this year I made plans with Bobbie to do some photos. She debuted only two months ago with her Fourth of July Sparklers set ( Sample 01 / Sample 02 ) (see blog: " Monday's Shoot - Bobbie "). This time around I had another special set planned for her - the site's annual football themed shoot. In the days leading up to this shoot I had a little bit of brainstorming to do. In years past I've done numerous hometown themed sets for the site, so coming up with new ideas isn't always easy. For those of you who follow Soles of Silk on Twitter ( @SolesofSilk ) or Instagram ( @SolesofSilk ), then you've already had a glimpse of the silly shenanigans that ensued Monday afternoon with none other than Mindee . Many of you have loved some of the fun tease sets a few of the models have done in the past and have asked for more. When doing these, I like to keep them on the light-hearted side, but I will be the first to admit - I love a girl who knows how to tease. So a sports theme with nothing but blue balls would be perfect!
