It feels like I haven't shot any photos in ages. I've really been itching to shoot some new sets, but truth be told, I'm still sitting on a lot of the ones I shot last year. I really did go all out with shooting in 2013. Anyhow, in 2014 the only shoot I've done thus far was with Lela Beryl during the midst of a snow storm. Well, that weather is long gone and today was in the mid to upper 60s - perfect for getting in some foot fetish photos. Today's model? None other than Mindee ! Over the last few weeks I've been planning shoot dates with various models - even some brand new ones. When Mindee and exchanged texts about a week ago, I asked her what she had open. I'm always wanting to shoot new sets with her whenever I can. She told me to give her a list of my open dates and she'd pick one. Luckily for me, she picked something sooner, rather than later. The set that began inspiring my newly found love of nude hose. I've always been a barefoot guy. I've always preferred women's feet bare over other means, but I have to be honest here. Nude hose has been doing it for me lately! As a kid growing up I always adored women wearing stockings. At that point I was more into legs than anything else. Eventually I began noticing women's feet, but never really tied the two fetishes together. As I grew older and began exploring the fetish, I saw that the love for stockings, whether pantyhose, thigh highs, knee highs, or any other variation, was enormous. When I met Kim T. and her then husband, I met two people heavy into the pantyhose scene. It rubbed off on me somewhat, but I still remained a barefoot guy. Since starting Soles of Silk back in 2004 I have been sure to include stockings whenever I can. Usually they're of the thigh high variety so they can be pulled off to eventually leave the feet bare. Life. It's not always fair. Over the years two girls who I once considered among my best friends, and who also modeled for this site, moved away. Those two girls were Carmen and Madison . Those two were also two of the most popular models during the site's early years and then they were gone. Just like that. Gone! Moved away with little to no contact since. I guess they just needed or wanted change in their lives. Two weeks ago yet another one of the models mentioned she might be moving and my stomach sank. Just like it was with Carmen and Madison, I consider this girl to be a close friend. She's probably the best female friend I've ever had. This model... This friend is Mindee . I am not going to get into Mindee's business in this blog - a friend wouldn't do that. I'll just say the prospect of moving wasn't something she wanted and was trying to avoid.  I'm glad she trusted me enough to tell me - something that didn't happen with either

Lately something has been happening that hasn't happened in all my years online (including my college days running The 10 Little Piggies free site). This something is, Wu's Feetlinks has not been updated for close to a month. I've been asked on the Wu's Feetlinks Forum in threads and in personal messages about the status of the site. Sorry to say, I know about as much as all of you who are asking. While I have personally talked with Wu too many times to count over the years, I haven't done so since the last update on his site, which reads "March 27, 2014." At first I honestly thought that the lack of updates was due to BHE moving some servers in recent weeks. I didn't think much of it, but as the days continued to add up after Soles of Silk was moved, I began to wonder. That's when people started to wonder and ask. In a recent thread seeing quite a bit of response on the Wu's Feetlinks Forum titled, " Am I Missing Something?

Well, you win some and you lose some. While there are still seven days left to submit your entries for the 2014 Soles of Silk Wallpaper Design Contest , the turn out thus far has been close to non-existent. I am writing this blog as a last ditch attempt to see if people have just missed out on the fact that the contest is going on. I've plugged it here on the blog, Twitter , the Wu's Feetlinks Forum , and on Soles of Silk itself, so I don't think that's the case. I've run this contest only three times in years past with varying degrees of success. The first contest where people could do designs of Chloe , Layla , and Precious had 24 total entries. The second contest with designs based on Bethany , Jordana , and Madison saw only nine entries. The third contest, which featured Cierra , Jaylee Austin , and Lady Steph had the most entries with 29. At this point, I'm guessing this fourth installment will turn out to be along the lines of the second contest.

Well, well... I can finally look out of my window and not see any snow on the ground. It's about damn time! This winter has seen it's fair share of snow and I cannot wait for the warm weather to arrive. I crave getting back to doing some photography and seeing countless pairs of cute feet.
