This photo of Cierra was in the very first photo I posted to the site's Instagram account. Back on April 12, 2012 I created the Soles of Silk Instagram page ( @SolesofSilk ). I posted 19 photos that first day and didn't expect much. I had never used Instagram up until that point and was totally content with the site's Twitter account ( @SolesofSilk ). I waited a couple of days and then added a few more photos. In the weeks to come I pretty much just stuck to posting samples from the site's archive and getting a presence established. I still didn't know what to think about the platform as I was only dumping older photos onto it. It was nothing like I am doing today.
