I had Monday off and Mindee and I decided we were going to hang out and catch up. If we could do photos, awesome, if not, oh well. She's a good friend of mine and the last time we got to hang out and do anything was late last year when she did her last four sets to reach 40 for 2017 (see blog: " Sunday's Shoot - Mindee & Her Quest for 40 ").  So far in 2018 I haven't been active with shoots. The only one I've done so far this year was when Maya debuted last week (see blog: " Sunday's Shoot - Maya "). Work has kept me busy and life has been, well, life. What I've been able to do, I've squeezed in when I can. So if Monday resulted in a set or two, that would rock. If not, I was also fine with just going out and grabbing a bite to eat with my most photographed model. Well, long story short, it resulted in two sets and with two models. Surprise, surprise! So last week I got a new phone. Instead of just porting over all my contacts, I decided to go through each and every one of them to see which ones were still current. At one point I texted a friend and former coworker of mine named Maya . We hadn't really talked much as of late. She got another job a while back and we just seemed to lose touch. When she replied to my text, and confirmed that she still had the same number, we struck up a conversation that went back and forth for an hour or so. At some point during our conversation I mentioned that I was still doing my site. She asked me if I was still looking for new people, to which I, of course, said yes. To make a long story short, she said she'd love to go ahead and finally shoot for me. I was so happy to be reading that! You just don't know... I've always found Maya to be so pretty and we got along quite well. Maya then said that she wishes that she had shot sooner, back when I had asked her a couple of years ago.

I am someone who always likes to give my models as much credit and focus as possible when it comes to what they have done for Soles of Silk . This is why I have created the "K Clubs" when a model reaches a 1,000 photo mark. To this day, there are 14 models who have reached the 1K mark, two who have reached 2K, and one model who has gone on to hit 3K and 4K. All that being said, there are a handful of models who are less than 100 photos shy from reaching 1K, and that model who's gone on to 3K and 4K is now just shy of 5K. I'd like to look at each of them, their current photo counts, how many photos they need, and the overall likelihood of them reaching it.
