It wasn't even a month ago that Leah and I met up for her last shoot. We shot four amazing sets, which was some of Leah's best work, in my opinion. With that being said, I was so happy that the two of us were able to find some time to shoot again so soon. Just like in August, Leah was on fire on Monday, modeling for three more memorable sets. I have a funny feeling that you'll be seeing a lot of Leah in my "Favorite Sets of 2023" end of the year blog. If you're familiar with her four sets from last month and when you add in these three, you'll understand why. Set 1: White Out For those of you loved the August 31, 2023 update featuring Leah wearing black stockings underneath a pair of black fence net stockings, then this set will be right up your alley. Kelsey was long overdue for a shoot. With both of us changing jobs over the summer and her injuring her ankle last month, finding time hasn't been easy. One thing we did manage to do, however, was toss around fun ideas for when we finally did shoot - too many ideas to do in a single day. So even though we managed to shoot five amazing sets today, we still have plenty of ideas yet to come. Fingers crossed that we'll find time again here soon for even more! For now though, onto today's sets. Set 1: Hometown Team Superstition Back in March Kelsey sat on a set of bleachers, wearing orange sneakers and an Orioles shirt, with her toes painted orange. Next to her she had a couple of baseballs and a glove. Since then the Orioles have been one of the best teams in all of baseball.  So guess how we started off today's shoot? Monday started out like most other days when it comes to getting ready for a shoot. I packed my stuff, hit a couple of stores for some last-minute items, then made my way to my model's house. On this day, I would be shooting with Leah . Once Leah entered the picture (pun intended), things got quite interesting. Just ask the lady who gave her a pedicure. When walking into the nail salon Leah looked at me and mumbled that she wasn't wearing any underwear. She was also wearing a skirt. Oops!  Leah tried her best to hide her girl parts and seemed to be doing a good job. Well, at least for a little while. After 10 minutes of sitting in the chair, Leah was given a towel to put over her lap. I was cracking up so much and texting Leah all kinds of wisecracks about her situation. She was rolling her eyes at me, trying not to laugh. Once the fun at the nail salon came to an end, we grabbed a quick bite to eat. From there we were on our way to shoot some much-needed photos. A few weeks ago Reese and I got together to shoot for the first time since 2018. She was long overdue and we were both looking forward to catching up. Luckily for me, I didn't have to wait almost five years to shoot with her again this time - not even a full month, actually. Yesterday Reese and I spent a few hours at a park to shoot two more sets. A few weeks ago I was hanging out with Allie and her boyfriend. We were on our way to an amusement park. Sadly, our schedules haven't matched up lately and we'd been unable to shoot anything since back in February. We toyed with the idea of pulling over on the way to the park to do a set or two, but we were already getting up early for a long drive. Having to add in a couple of shoots would have had us up earlier than any of us wanted to be. Plus, the forecast was showing a potential for storms throughout the region. It was too much hassle to try to fit in. Long story short, during our drive, Allie and I figured out that we'd both have some free time on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Originally we were going to spend the entire day together and find some interesting places visit for our sets. As the date drew near, however, a few things popped up on Allie's end that required her attention. She was still up to shoot, but she'd need to be done by 2 p.m. Not wanting to cance

A few weeks ago I purchased a new camera - a Sony A7 IV. I made plans with Kelsey to shoot a week after, but that never came to pass. A week later, I made plans with Kelsey's friend, Roxy, who would be making her debut. On the one day we both matched our schedules, the skies were filled with smoke due to the wildfires in Canada blowing this way. We decided to try again on another day. I just couldn't catch a break. It doesn't help that I have a tight work schedule either, but I have been trying. During this entire ordeal I was in regular talks with Reese to make her much needed return. Reese hasn't shot new content since 2018 and was one of the many friends/models who I hadn't worked with since the pandemic. We've been talking about finding some time to shoot for weeks now and today it finally happened. Kelsey has shot her first new photos of 2023 and was it ever an adventure. From great photos to someone spotting us and making some comments, it was a memorable day for sure! Let's get into the two sets we did, one of which, you'll be seeing this very week on the site. Set 1: Let's Go O's! This coming Thursday on March 30th, the Orioles play the Boston Red Sox on Opening Day. Wanting to shoot a set themed to the home team once again, I was after Kelsey to see if she had any open days before the season began. Well, she did, but it wasn't until a few days before Opening Day. Beggars can't be choosers. We made plans and got the set in first thing today. You won't have to wait long to see it either. As I was preparing for my shoot with Abby on Saturday, Leah messaged me to let me know she had finished her 2022 Star Model Interview. I'll be posting that with this week's update. That wasn't all that came up in that conversation, though. Leah asked me if I was free to shoot either tomorrow or next week. I said both are open and to pick what works best for her. She picked to shoot the very next day, on Sunday. Naturally, I had no immediate ideas on what we'd shoot. Like Abby, Leah suggested we just get together and "figure it out." She had some fun and sexy clothing options she said she could use. I said okay and that I'd hit her up later on after I finished up with Abby. Fast forward a few hours and I still had no idea what to shoot with Leah. She had her mind set on doing at least one teasing/naughty set. I wasn't complaining. She sent me a photo of a shirt she has with a Dominos Pizza logo spoof that reads, "Dominant" instead. Of course

Last week Abby and I made plans to shoot some new sets on Saturday. What would we shoot? Neither of us had any idea. Abby said we should just go with the flow and whatever happens, happens. That has worked well in the past for me, but mostly with outdoor sets. It's not too hard to find a neat place. For indoor sets though, I like to have some kind of plan. It wasn't until the night before our shoot that I came up with a couple of ideas, both of which we ended up using. Oddly enough, both were flashbacks to past memories for the two of us - back to the days when we used to date in college. Set 1: 35mm Days As many of you know, Abby was my first true foot model. She modeled for lots of photos for me on my old freebie sites pre-dating Soles of Silk . Digital photography was just getting started back then, so everything was done on 35mm film. For the last few years all of my pre-Soles of Silk photography has been sitting in photo books out in a storage locker. Hundreds of photos o

One week ago Abby was in front of my camera shooting some much needed content for Soles of Silk . Trying to build up some sets for the future, I found myself back behind the camera again, this time with Allie baring her tiny size 5's. With her last sets coming back in September 2022, she was overdue. Both of us were excited to finally shoot some new photos and we had several ideas in mind. So let me stop with the intro so I can get into what Allie and I found ourselves shooting just 24 hours ago. Sets 1 & 2: Fence Nets & Pudding Allie told me a while ago that she really wanted to do a set with pudding. She loved squishing a pumpkin pie under her feet for a Thanksgiving in 2021 and was eager to step in something else fun and yummy. I told Allie that I wasn't opposed to her doing a pudding set, but I had done several with the likes of Sara Swirls , Mindee , and Melani . While they all took place years ago, I'd still want to somehow make one Allie would do different.

It had been a few months since I last shot new content for Soles of Silk . I had met with several models just before the holidays to stockpile sets to get me through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Here in January, however, I needed to get someone in front of the camera. It ended up being harder said than done. A few weeks ago I began a new job and have been dedicating my time to learning new skills and adjusting to a new schedule. This hindered my ability to plan some much needed camera time. On Saturday, however, I was able to pull the camera out and shoot the site's first sets of 2023 with  Abby .  One of the two sets we shot below will be making its way onto the site this very week. I finally emptied my coffer of unpublished sets and now need to start rebuilding things. Thankfully Allie will be shooting this Saturday. I'll have to try to plan with some of the site's other models too now that I've gotten a grasp on my schedule. Set 1: Wonder Woman Books Abby

After a six year hiatus, Kelsey has made the most of her comeback here in 2022. For the third time this year, Kelsey and I met up yesterday to shoot new content. While we faced several issues with lighting and my camera, we made the most of the day. We still came away with some sets I think everyone will love.  Originally, Kelsey and I wanted to meet on either Monday or Tuesday. Last week's forecast showed both days to be in the 70's and partly cloudy. This time of year, those conditions come in handy when outdoors. Well, Mother Nature had other ideas. It rained every day from Sunday to Wednesday. Kelsey and I had already decided to postpone to Thursday seeing the change in weather. Needless to say, I was looking forward to this shoot. Our two previous shoots have resulted in some of my favorite sets of the year.
