The last time Ava and I got together to shoot was at the end of 2021. Back then she was spending a lot of time in front of my camera, appearing in some of my favorite sets. As you can imagine, I have missed her and those big size 9 feet. I know her fans have too. Whenever I posted a photo of her on Twitter ( @SolesofSilk ), I'd often get messages asking me if she is back, or when she would be. Well, that time has come! Yesterday Ava and I got together to shoot some much needed content. We managed six sets during our time together and neither of us can wait to do more. The best thing is that during our time together, I showed her some of Leah's recent sets. She said she'd love to do some sets with Leah one day. When I told Leah, she said she is 100 percent on board. Ava also wants to shoot with Kelsey at some point as we all used to work together and know one another. Charlee certainly has a massive presence on Soles of Silk  and has for a long time. She's one of only three models to reach the 3K Club (3,000 photos). Until last year, she was the site's second most photographed model behind Mindee . Kelsey's meteoric rise the last two years, however, now sees Charlee in third place. With all that said, it is wild to think that I haven't shot any new content with Charlee in almost two years. August 2022 was the last time we met up, and just like today, it was during her travels back north to visit friends and family. That's how we've gone about shooting for a while now. She comes home. I grab my camera. We hang out. We shoot. It's crazy to think just how many photos she'd have if she never moved and lived less than 5 minutes away like she did when we she debuted. Since Soles of Silk debuted in 2004 I have worked mostly with friends, co-workers, and classmates as far as models are concerned. During that time, I've had some of those models tell their friends and/or family about what they do, which in turn, made some of those people interested in joining them. It's happened numerous times and it has happened yet again. A few months ago Leah told me about her friend, Dakota . Dakota thought Leah's photos looked fun and told her to tell me that she was interested. We touched base soon after and have been chatting on and off for a bit. On Monday, February 12, 2024, she became the site's newest model. So through Leah, I met Dakota. And when you think about it, through Alice I met Leah. It's great when you have people coming to you wanting to shoot. And guess what? Through Dakota, I might be working with her daughter. Yes, that's right. For the last few weeks Kelsey and I have been planning one final shoot date for 2023. We wanted to go out with a bang by getting together early and shooting for 10-12 hours. Well, weather and sick kids didn't allow that to happen. Instead we didn't meet up until almost 5 p.m. It didn't ruin our day though. Nope! We still managed to shoot eight all new sets. And spoiler... they all are amazing! Kelsey nailed it once again. She's certainly become the site's MVP. These eight sets happen to be the first time Kelsey has done an indoor set since 2010, which was when she smashed black bottoms under her feet. I knew it had been a while, but I didn't realize it had been 13 years. As a matter of fact, of the more than 50 sets Kelsey has appeared in prior to Monday, only six of them were done indoors. In 2023 Leah has been on a roll shooting some of her best sets to date. Yesterday we had the opportunity to add four more to her 2023 tally, putting her at 13 on the year. That count may rise with some tentative plans in place for a December for some team up sets with Kelsey . Let me not get ahead of myself, though. Yesterday's plans came together last week. All kinds of ideas popped into my head for themes and outfits. Thankfully, I was able to order and receive most of what we'd need via Amazon . For the rest of what we needed, we went shopping before our slated 3 p.m. check-in time.  One of the items we bought last minute on Monday was the reindeer antlers you'll see Leah wearing in the third set. After purchasing that, it meant every one of our sets would feature animal representation. This wasn't planned, but turned out to be a fun little tidbit. Anyhow, enough backstory. Back in early October Roxy made her Soles of Silk debut. We had been talking about shooting for months and finally made it happen. I didn't want to wait too long for us to shoot again, however, especially with cold weather on the horizon. Luckily we lucked out today with temperatures in the low 70's. What we didn't realize when we set out today was that there was some rain slated for 3 p.m.  Some rain did eventually fall and did so while we shot. We made the most of it though shooting three more sets. Here's a look at what the two of us were able to do in only a few hours with the changing weather conditions. A few weeks ago I teased on Twitter ( @SolesofSilk ) that Kelsey and I would be shooting some new content. We ultimately had to push our plans back, but the both of us were eager to make those plans happen. We decided to postpone to Monday, November 6, 2023, which was yesterday. We managed to shoot five new sets. With temperatures in the lower to mid 50's, it was a little chilly. Still, we made the most of it and I loved the results. This has been the case with all of Kelsey's shoots the last couple of years. Ever since her big return, she's been shooting her best content.  A lot of you have expressed just how much you love her sets and that you cannot wait to see all the ones I tease in these shoot recaps.  Well, here are five more sets that fans are surely going to want to see. Months ago I posted a shot of my friend Roxy's feet on the Soles of Silk Twitter account ( @SolesofSilk ). The photo was one that she sent me to tease me before our upcoming shoot. From that point on, she'd randomly send me photos of her feet for further teasing. The only thing that sucked was as much as I enjoy the teasing, we had been unable to make a shoot happen. Time and time again our plans would be foiled. It was always for different reasons too. Heck, one time we had to cancel due to the wildfires in Canada over the summer. Even hundreds of miles away from the fires, the sky was a hazy yellow color and you could smell and even taste the smoke in the air. We weren't trying to shoot in that mess. Fast forward to last night I yet again posted another photo of Roxy's feet on Twitter. This time, however, I took it. A few weeks ago Kelsey and I had to reschedule a shoot due to extreme heat and her not feeling well. With Leah's shoot already planned for the following week, Kelsey and I decided to aim for the week after her shoot - Monday, September 18, 2023. Thankfully the weather was much cooler this time and we got things under way just after some rain had passed through the region. Just like her previous shoot, Kelsey and I managed to come away with five new sets.
