Have you ever seen segment in the 1966 Batman film where Adam West utters the line, "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb?"  If you haven't, please watch the scene below before proceeding. It's only 2 minutes, 32 seconds long, but fits into the narrative of this blog. So you're probably asking me why I had you watch this infamous clip from the hokey 1960's Batman film. Well, it's because I felt like Batman while out trying to shoot with Jasey Rae on Monday. We didn't have a bomb, but we did have some "bomb" feet, if you will, and we couldn't seem to display them for the camera at any place that we tried for a good hour and a half. Not wanting to spend the entire day shooting, and wanting to stay local, Jasey and I made our way over to a park that I've used a few times. April is drawing to a close, so Mindee and I were scrambling to figure out when we were going to shoot some photos to fulfill the 2019 Monthly Shoot Challenge quota for April. We thought about trying to get in a few shots while out at an amusement park last week, but it was just too busy. With us running out of days, we then planned to shoot tomorrow, but Mindee instead asked me to shoot today. It worked out better for both of us and we got in two awesome sets! With only a few hours to shoot, we drove to a large park that I have used a few times in the past. It's been a while since I have shot there and the park is plenty big enough to shoot in unused places. Which places? We didn't yet know. This blog is a follow up from " Sunday's Shoot - Esmerelda ." Since I was not the only person to have plans with Esmerelda on Monday, I found some places to go visit for a few hours prior to our shoot. I also decided to check out some possible shoot locations while I was at it and found what I thought would be a good one for a sporty theme. Man, oh man... Did that ever result in a moment that irritated me beyond belief. This set marks the first time in 14 years that I had the police called on me while shooting. Once Esmerelda was ready to shoot, I picked her up at her hotel. She brought a couple of different outfits with her as we were planning on doing two sets. The first set was to be shoot at a track behind a high school a couple of miles from her hotel. We were decided to include her sneakers and some purple knee high socks with this one. Esmerelda, herself, came up with the idea to put her hair in pig tails. I said to go for it. So this set was going alo

A few weeks ago I saw that Esmerelda , who some of you may know from her Instagram account ( @FootChick ), was traveling to Lancaster, Pa. I hit her up and we began to chat about possibly finding some time to shoot during her visit. Long story short, our original plan was for me to come by for a few hours on Monday, August 6, 2018 and shoot a handful of sets. A few days before our shoot, however, Esmerelda told me that she had some open time on Sunday now too. She said if I was available, we could shoot both days. That's exactly what we did. I picked up Esmerelda around noon on Sunday and we were off to a couple of stores prior to our shoot. Once we were set, it was onto the first location I wanted to use - a small field area where a roller coaster from a nearby park would be visible. Well, that was how it looked on Google Maps . When we arrived, it looked like the amusement park had bought that plot of land and turned it into a parking lot since the area was last mapped online.

A couple of weeks ago I met up with Mindee and Rein . We shot the "More Suite Feet" series, with the two of them featured in Part 1 and just Mindee in Part 2 . Those shoots put Mindee at the 35 sets for 2017 - a number she was quite happy with. Then, one week later, I asked if she wanted to swing by for a set with Melani . As she always does, Mindee found the time to get in on a single set in the " Suite Teen Feet Series - Part 1 " when the two teamed up for the third time this year. That created a problem. Mindee now had 36 sets. Now you're probably asking yourself, "What's the problem?" Well, you see, Mindee liked the idea of her set count being a multiple of five. She was happy with the 35, but when she got to 36, she joked that she needed to get to 40. By this time every year the weather in this region is getting chilly and the sun is going down extra early. Although that sucks, it usually doesn't affect my photo shoots much. This is the case due to the fact that I generally shoot so much of my work in the warmer months, and shoot a lot of it. Still, there are times when I get the itch to shoot something new. Today was one of those days. Earlier this week I sent a few photos of a location I found on Google Earth to Alice . The spot I found showed an old, abandoned train bridge passing through an archway of another train bridge. These bridges passed over a large creek below and it just looked so scenic. Alice asked me if I wanted to schedule a shoot soon and go there. At first I told her that it has been too cold and the sunlight abysmal these last few week. She agreed and we left it at that. As the week progressed, however, I gave it more thought and decided that hanging out with Alice and doing and quick shoot would be great
