Soles of Silk Blog

Beginning in 2015 I began naming Soles of Silk's Star Models, which was a listing of the three models who shot the most photos that calendar year. While putting together 2017's Star Model list, I began to wonder just who the site's Star Models were from 2004-14. That curiosity got the best of me and I decided to go ahead and retroactively name those star models in a blog series. I had quite a few surprises along the way too. (Remember: These are sets shot, not published during the course of the year.) Not since the site's earliest years did two brand new models tie for the top spot on a Star Models list. Here in 2011, it happened again. Rookies reigned supreme and two of the site's most photographed models followed them up, missing the top spot by only a single set. Welcome to the third installment of the "Dream Duos" blog series. Since Camille (right) debuted in 2015, it's been a hope of mine to get her to shoot with her older sister, and one of the site's most photographed models, Kayleigh. I feel like it's been a while since I posted a general news and notes style blog entry. With spring upon us and shoots starting to be planned, I figured it was as good of time as any to give everyone some updates to what's going on with Soles of Silk . Existing Models Contacted Today I spent a few hours reaching out to all of my models who I still have contact information for. I shot them messages telling them that I hope to schedule something with them soon, and for those who haven't shoot in a while, that I'd love to get them back onto the site again. One of the most common emails I get are ones asking me about a particular status of someone's favorite model(s). A few years ago I did a series that informed people of the status of all the models on the site. Since that was some time ago and new models have since made their way onto the site, I figured it would be a good time to do an all new version. With 88 models on  Soles of Silk  as I write this, I have decided to break the series into 11 parts, each one featuring eight of the site's models. I hope this helps you learn a little more about the status of each one of the models on the site whose work you enjoy! Sometimes I just have the itch to run off 10 Fun Facts about Soles of Silk . This blog has been the place for me to do it numerous times in the past too. I'm sure the education you've all gotten from these entries is second to none! Well, this time around get ready for a themed 10 Fun Facts blog centered on the 1K Club (models with 1,000 photos).
