Mindee & Shelby are the only mother/daughter combo I've had the pleasure to shoot. Having run Soles of Silk for 14 years and counting, I have shot my fair share of moms. I've also shot women who weren't moms who have since become one. To all you ladies I say, Happy Mother's Day! Whether it was trying to fit in a quick shoot while juggling their kid's sports practice, or cleaning up their mess of a house while I was on the way over to do a shoot, I say thank you! Even on those days you called me because your little one was sick and you needed to postpone, I appreciate you trying to give me some of your time. I adore you for all that you have done, or tried to do for me when you had just a little bit of time on your hands. I know life is busy and you all do so much. Even though that is true, you all still find the time to keep your soles soft and toes freshly pedicured. You make the time to be in front of my camera and take part in numerous interviews.

Mindee named this set as one of her favorites from her last batch of 1,000 on the site. It was only a matter of time. Mindee is now in the 5K Club (5,000 photos). She's the only model on the site to have reached the 3K and 4K marks and naturally, she's the only member of the 5K Club. Only two models, Cierra and Mindee, have even reached the 2K mark. Several site models, however, are poised to join that club before long. Mindee's milestone could have happened sooner, with her last update coming on January 10, 2018. Originally, I was going to have her be the feature update for every week during the month of March. I was going to call it, "Mindee's March to 6K," as she would have hit the 5K mark during the first update. I, however, decided to postpone it until May and give March to another model who shot a ridiculous amount of sets last year, Melani . March became " Melani's March to 1K " and now May will feature the event, " May I

When Charlee was in town three weeks ago we met up and shot her first photos of 2018 (see blog: " Sunday's Shoot - Charlee "). On that day we also made plans to shoot, what was originally supposed to be yesterday, but was switched to today for weather reasons. It was a good thing we did as today was beautiful and we got in three more great sets. Today ended up being model's choice when it came to set themes. Charlee had been wanting to do a baby oil set for some time now. Being it was sunny, today was as good of a day as any. It was also our first set. Well, one that followed the customary lengthy foot massage to begin the day. Charlee couldn't wait to do a baby oil set and make her feet shiny. For this shoot I went out and bought Charlee a brand new bottle of baby oil. I told her to feel free to use the entire bottle. She did just that too!
