Thursday's Shoot - Jamie

Image
On Wednesday I was lucky enough to be able to meet up with Jamie and do her first new shoots of 2014. Since I only had a few hours open that day before I had to be in for work, we decided to on shoot back-to-back days. I wanted to try to get in three new sets and there wasn't enough time to do that on Wednesday - especially since we did a pedicure stop first. If you haven't read the blog, " Wednesday's Shoot - Jamie ," check that one out first as this is kind of a continuation from the day before. It might even be the first time in 10 years that I shot the same model on back-to-back days. Maybe not, but I can't recall ever doing it off the top of my head. On both Wednesday and Thursday I was worried about the rain. The forecast call for rain both dates, but we lucked out on Wednesday. When I woke up on Thursday, however, there was a steady drizzle. Jamie texted me to ask me the plan. "We're going to the store to buy some rubber rain boots," I

Wednesday's Shoot - Jamie

Yesterday I had a few hours open before I had to be at work. Jamie and I decided to do a quick shoot, but we had to make a quick stop to get her toes painted first. By chance, I picked this amazing shade of teal that matched a top and a pair of flip flops she brought with her. Our original idea was to do a set with some flats, but with all the teal going on, I changed plans. A few days ago I looked at some parks I had never used for shoots before. Abby shot at one (see blog: "Today's Shoot - Abby) and the following day, Kayleigh shot at two others (see blog: Yesterday's Shoot - Kayleigh"). Since we only had a few hours before I had to be at work, I decided to try one of the others since it was nearby. We made our way through the large park and at the very end we found an area with two piers. One was quite weathered, but the other was in much better condition. As much as I liked the weather look, the pier itself was kind of small, so we went for the other. Jam

Sunday's Shoot - Charlee

Image
Today was set to be a good day. Charlee and I scheduled a photo shoot, she told me she needed her feet rubbed, and we were going to spend the rest of the day at Six Flags America. So I was set to enjoy two of my most favorite things in the world today - women's feet and roller coasters. Well, one out of two isn't bad. More on that at the conclusion of this blog. Charlee picked me up as she wanted to drive. We decided to plan our shoots at locations down around the amusement park so we could just drive right over and hit up the rides. The first location was at a Metro Rail station. This particular station had a unique piece of art at the entrance that I had been eyeing up on Google Earth when I planned this, but we quickly found there was really no spot to pose other than on the ground. Since Charlee was wearing a dress and pantyhose in this set (first time doing a stocking set), we decided to look around for a Plan B. We looked onto the train station itself, but surprisi

Tuesday's Shoot - Kayleigh

It was only a few hours ago when I was eating at an Italian restaurant with a friend I haven't seen in a few years. This friend is one of the most dependable models I've ever had on my site and one that current ranks as 7th among all of my models for the most photos published to the site with 1,284. This model is none other than Kayleigh . Kayleigh didn't waste time getting on the site, posing the day she turned 18 back in 2009. Since then, she posed regularly and I found her in front of my camera 19 different times in a three year span. And then she moved to Texas! Needless to say, my heart was broken. I loved shooting photos of my small-footed friend. Although I had several sets of hers that I hadn't published when she moved to Texas, the idea that she may no longer pose for me did occupy my thoughts. The two sets I posted to the site of Kayleigh in 2013 were both shot in 2012. Back to the present now. Kayleigh and I are eating way too much food for our bellies
