I can honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, I could take photos of Mindee every single day of my life and I'd never get bored of it. Seriously, I don't think there has been a shoot where I didn't have a blast taking her photos. Okay, there was the snow set that was cold beyond belief. I still blame that on her though because it was her idea. Anyhow, that's ancient history. Today was another one of those days I'll fondly remember as Mindee showed me her adorable feet yet again this year. This is the third time we shot, and the sixth and seventh sets we've done in 2013. Too bad we haven't done more! That might just happen, however, but more on that later. I met Mindee at her new house this morning. Yesterday I spent the day with Colleen shooting two sets on one a ridiculously hot day (see blog: " Today's Shoot - Colleen "). With Amelia shooting today I sent her a text last night to tell her to prepare for an equally hot day, according to the weather reports. Amelia wasn't happy about that, but she was still eager to shoot nonetheless. We planned for this day more than a month ago and I was just as eager to have her posing again. I picked Amelia up at 12:37 p.m. this afternoon which is funny because when Amelia asked me what time I wanted to shoot last night, I replied, "11:37 a.m." "What? Really?" she said questioning my odd time. "Just make it noon." "Only if I get some extra time rubbing your feet," I told her. "Deal," she said. For those of you who follow Soles of Silk on Instagram (@SolesofSilk) and Twitter (@SolesofSilk), you're already aware of the awesome sight that was in front of my camera today. For the first time in 2013 I was able to schedule Colleen to bare those size 8s for me. And by all of your posts, likes, favorites, retweets, and any other social media means available, you sure did love seeing her return! That feeling is mutual. I missed her too. In the days leading up to our shoot Colleen and I exchanged texts about possible shoot ideas and locations. At first I wanted to do a set with tennis shoes with a work out theme. Colleen then mentioned a pair of black Converse shoes and I decided to scrap the work out idea. I've shot a few of those lately, so I'd let her smelly feet and shoes stand on their own. For the entire spring and summer I have been after Olivia to schedule some shoot time with me. When I tossed out the idea for us to go to Cape May, NJ several months ago, she was all for it. We set the date for a Sunday in July, but had something come up, so we ended up rescheduling to Sunday, August 25. Well, August 25 was yesterday and Olivia and I were able to meet up this time and got in three sets - all in very scenic locations. Our day began around 7 a.m. and after a quick stop for breakfast we were on our way. I wanted to get to Cape May around 10 a.m. so we wouldn't be rushed. I also wanted to make use of the best sun light possible.  When we pulled into the parking lot at Cape May Point State Park, I was very happy to see most of the parking lot was empty. Being a tourist heavy location, I was hoping that we wouldn't be surrounded by hundreds of people. This was also a factor in me wanting to arrive early.
