Before I began my recent road trip I had asked Mindee if she wanted to schedule a shoot for when I returned. She said she'd be open on July 8 and I told her that should be fine. I was set to return home a day or two before that Monday. I did tell her, however, that I'd text her from the road just to confirm that the trip was on schedule since my friend and I were driving almost 2,000 miles. With only two destinations left on our road trip, I sent Mindee that text and told her shooting on July 8 was looking good since I didn't experience any set backs. When Mindee replied, she surprised me with an unexpected question. She wanted to know if it was okay for her cousin, Marcy , to tag along and shoot again. I was taken back, but eager to have  Marcy  pose again. I said yes. For those of you who don't know, Marcy posed for Soles of Silk right after her 18th birthday in a set that had her looking at her first ever porno magazine - none other than an issue of Leg Show

Hey everyone, just wanted to tell everyone that I'm back home now and should be a little more accessible. I was on the road for a week hitting up numerous amusement parks as well as a few baseball games in different cities. All in all, the trip was amazing, but it was very hard to do the amount of promotion I had wanted to do for Aspen's All American Feet feature set on Wu's Feetlinks from my iPhone and iPad. I set things up as best as I could, so I hope everyone has been enjoying that set. If you haven't checked it out, you're missing what many people are saying is the site's best set ever. That's some praise since I've loved so many sets I've done over the years. I'll let you all be the judge of that. Aspen's June 2013 Wu's Feature Set Banner Sometimes things just don't happen the way you plan them. That sure was the motto for shooting this year's Wu's Feetlinks Feature Set for the site. Aspen (this year's featured Soles of Silk model) and I just couldn't seem to catch a break when it came to making good on some really awesome ideas. And as I stated in the blog, " Today's Shoot - Aspen ," a few weeks ago, the story behind this set deserved it's very only blog. So now it's time to embark on the epic journey that ended up resulting in Aspen's Star Spangled Beauty set - an idea that was picked only days before it was shot. To cover the entire timeline of this story I have to go back to early 2013 while it was still very cold. Wu slotted Soles of Silk and Aspen in for the month of June. The following is part of a series of blogs that will look back at all the feature sets from  Soles of Silk  that have appeared on  Wu's Feetlinks  and the girls who made them a success.  Carmen  got the ball rolling in 2006 and every year since,  Soles of Silk  has had a set featured on  Wu's Feetlinks  - the most recent of which stars  Aspen . In the last entry we saw Kayleigh celebrating the end of the school year. In this one,  Aspen  represents the USA while having some fun in the falls... I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I will be headed out on Saturday, June 28 for a much needed vacation. It's going to be a nice 10 day road trip hitting up numerous places I've always wanted to see. Sadly, there will be no models going with me for shoots. This is all to get away from things for a little while. With that being said, I have finished the Wednesday, July 3 Soles of Silk update and will be posting it on schedule from the road. I also have a few prewritten blogs that will be posted during that timeframe. This week should also showcase Aspen's feature set on Wu's Feetlinks . Between that and this week's update featuring both Mindee and Emerald , there should be plenty to keep you busy until I get back. Hope all of my fellow Americans have a safe and fun Fourth of July. Back on April 6, 2013 I wrote the third part of the blog series titled, "Soles of Silk Model Statuses." In that third part I made mention of Kelsey and said the following: " Kelsey  was a regular model on the site until a number of months ago when she became a mom for the first time. She's ready to pose again, so once the weather gets warm, expect to be seeing her return to show off her trademark soft soles and pudgy little toes." Well, here we are at the end of June and Kelsey has finally made her return. We had this date planned for over a month now. I had tried to schedule as many models as possible to shoot before I was scheduled to go away on vacation. Kelsey picked June 24 and it was a date I was looking forward to. Kelsey hadn't shot in over two years. She was overdue, but we almost ran into some trouble. Just like most of my other plans this month, the forecast was calling for rain and a chance of thunderstorms. The morning finally arrived
