What started out looking to be another slow Design Contest turned out to be quite good. The first time I ran a Wallpaper Design contest there were 25 entries submitted. With the popularity from that first one, the next one I thought would go over big. I was wrong and the second one only saw nine total entries sent in. I really thought the turn out would be closer to the second contest this time around too, but with some last minute submissions, the total ended up matching that of the first contest at 25. I must say I was quite pleased with the diversity of the model selection, the artwork itself, and the creativity that went into them designs. Not liking to be the one to judge these contests, I once again asked two of the sole mates to do it for me. I would only have served as a tie breaker if they're scoring resulted in ties. Good: I got in two more photo shoots with Jamie - including a comic book fan girl set follow up to Mindee's Piggies & Power Girl set that was featured at Wu's Feet Links and a bobble head themed set done in a mutual friend's bobble head room with more than 850 bobble heads. I thought some of the facts were neat, so I thought I'd come up with 25 facts about the Soles of Silk models to share with all of you. 1. Although Madison is currently in the lead with having the most photos on the site at 1,832, the site's second place model, Cierra , is 117 photos behind (1,715), but has three sets waiting to be posted. Two weeks ago I debuted a coworker/friend who just turned 18 named Katie . Now here I am doing it again. Just yesterday I took a trip to Wildwood, New Jersey for a day of photos with a another coworker/friend of mine named Jamie . On Sunday she turned 18 and on Monday she was before me posing for what turned out to be five sets worth of pictures. Having girls pose right after they turned 18 isn't exactly new around here. It was right around that time that we saw some photos from another Maryland couple printed as well. We began mailing each other back and forth through our post office boxes and after months, decided to meet. Come to find out, this couple lived less than 10 minutes from us and over the next year, we did a handful of photo sets together and became friends.
